"I stayed at this hotel recently and while the location was good and the customer service was okay, my biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room. I don't think my room was cleaned at all. I have attached some photos for you to see for yourself. It's outrageous that a hotel carrying the Marriott brand can have such poor standards."
"STayed 2/9-2/11/24. I arrived late on 2/9, around 2am. Put "do not disturb sign" on door so i could sleep in a little. Went to have breakfast 10:30, left for the day before noon. Before I left at noon, I removed the sign so that housekeeping would see to clean the room. I returned around 11pm to see no one cleaned my room. I called front desk, and the gentleman who I spoke to told me that he saw in the notes that housekeeping saw that the "do not disturb sign" was on the door and that they put in my file not to come that day. He explained that this is the hotel's policy and that if I wanted someone to clean the room later that I would need to inform the front desk. REALLY? This is a horrible, atrocious policy, especially since on the sign it says "Please do not disturb. Come back later." This means, housekeeping should come back later to check. Not tomorrow. Later. I have stayed in several hotels in my life, and this is only one that has the audacity to claim such a silly policy. Not thrilled. Plus, the room was in need of an renovation. Rust/discoloration, dirt, grime, not sure what exactly I saw but it wasn't as visually clean as I had hoped."
"My recent stay at this hotel left me thoroughly disappointed, primarily due to the abysmal customer service. Upon checking out, I found myself standing at the reception desk, ignored by the two receptionists engrossed in their private conversation. I had to wait patiently until they finally decided to acknowledge my presence. The indifference displayed was disheartening and reflected poorly on the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Furthermore, the customer service throughout my stay was consistently subpar. The staff exhibited a blatant disregard for guests, and it was evident in their dismissive attitude. It felt as if they were more interested in their personal conversations than attending to the needs of the patrons. Such behavior is inexcusable in a service industry, leaving a lasting negative impression. In addition to the lackluster customer service, the room service failed to meet expectations. The quality of the service did not align with the prices charged. The wait for room service was prolonged, and when the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. This further added to the overall dissatisfaction with my stay. I rarely find myself compelled to write negative reviews, but this experience was so egregious that I feel obligated to share it. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to others. The combination of indifferent customer service and lackluster room service makes it a regrettable choice for anyone seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay."
"I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last 2 years. I always use my appropriate ID to receive the Gov rate. At check-in they told me the will not give me the gov rate, even though I Reserved the rate online, and showed them the identification I have used in previous years. My options were to cancel the reservation and still be responsible for one night's stay, or stay 1 night at a higher rate. THEN the drains in the sink and tub wouldn't drain and that's incredibly gross. For many reasons, I do not recommend."
"The rooms are spacious and had everything we needed. I can’t complain about the staff as they provided everything we needed. My biggest complaint was just that the hotel is quite old. I feel like they do a decent job keeping it clean, but everything feels worn and tired. I didn’t partake of the restaurant. The location is very good though to downtown and plenty of restaurants."
