"For the last few months I’ve gotten a room here. This time it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I got to the room and my television didn’t work. I called the front desk and they told me they were working on it. I already paid double the price I always pay for two nights. I left for business the next morning and came back to the television still not working. The front desk told me the samething by saying they are working on it and the tech just got there to fix it. I asked to move me to another room and they told me they don’t have any available. I asked other guest and they said they got moved to another room where their television worked. So I was in a room for two days that I paid double the price for with no television."
"One night stay on way to Lion Country Safari. Great access to 95. Easy on/off. Standard two queen beds. We slept great but would never stay here again. Because city was sold out the rate was $150 ($160ish with taxes) I think if I paid $80 I would have felt more okay with the quality of the room. Room was dirty, visible dust on the desk, lamps. Tiled floors in room. Comfortable beds, nice modern bedding and pillows. Room is tiny (fine if you are only sleeping) Bathroom very basic and old but appeared clean to me. My young daughter said the shower looked disgusting - but I don’t think it was dirty - it was just old. Bathroom Light had a timer switch on it which I thought was strange. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything. A/C was very loud - was an older unit. It did keep the room cold. Set at 70 my kids said they were cold. I did give them the bed furthest away from the unit. Saw lots of little dogs being walked in the morning. One of the front desk clerks was very kind and hospitable. One was impatient and a bit rude at check in (drumming her nails on the counter while I dug for my drivers license in my wallet, when I asked if the lobby elevator was how I would get to my room she answered “ Yes ma’am that would be the only way you could get to your room” I guess the rude tone she used doesn’t really translate. I think the staff were a bit stressed because I heard something about the tvs being out. It doesn’t really matter though because I wouldn’t stay here’s again even if the staff were more hospitable."
"The hotel was clean but could definitely use some updates. My room was next to a service closet and they continued to slam the door. There were also a small roach in the room. I was checking out the next day so I did not request a room change. Outside of that, the front desk staff was good. My only recommendation is not to use the restaurant on premises. You would do better to go somewhere else. I would not stay here again unless everything else was sold out in the area."
"Worst hotel stay in a very long time. The first sign was that there was no breakfast being offered even though they had advertised it on the website. Next, the room appeared clean at first glance. As we started to settle in, we realized the bed sheets and towels had stains. Very disgusting. Then we finally laid down and there was a constant, loud beeping sound like an alarm. We told the front desk staff and they said they’d take care of it. The beeping sound went on all night long. If that wasn’t enough, there were guests on our floor that were slamming doors all night long. Needless to say, there was no sleep to be had. If that wasn’t enough, as we were getting ready to leave and trying to gather our belongings, the fire alarm went off and we had to vacate with half of our belongings and rush down five flights of stairs. It’s safe to say, we will never return!!!!"
"Absolutely disgusting. We used this hotel as a midway stop for our 12-hour trip. The first room had baby roaches ON THE BED & the thermostat was broken. The room itself was horrendous, with hair, dirt, & god knows what else on the floor. The front desk lady did graciously switch our room. The second room was equally as disgusting, but at least without roaches? The toilet was broken. We slept on towels & couldn’t get out fast enough. Never again. No bathroom in the lobby, so we had to leave the building to use one. The hotel hallways smelled of weed."
