"What a dump. The only thing missing was the police chalk outlines. I'd give NO stars if I could. Loose tiles on the floor..no way could have been swept."

"Can't say much about the hotel itself. This hotel left me high and dry. I booked a room by phone and told the desk that I would be there about 4 o'clock, when I got there,the office was locked, and there was a sign on the door saying go to the gas station up front. I went to the gas station, and the lady told me that the office was going to be closed while the manager goes to the bank and may or may not be back in 3 or 4 hours. I waited around for a couple of hours. Nobody showed up. I canceled the reservation, I hope. Could not reach a person, so I left a message on their answering machine and left."

"Pros... Great location if fishing out of Lakeport. Did not see any bugs. Room clean. Nice view of canal. Ice machine. Plenty of parking for boat and trailer. Air was cold. Nice laminate floors. Cons... Stayed in room 106. Old furnishings. Mimimal decor. TV had odd buzzing sound on some channels. Door stop broken so door into wall. Dirty exterior. Door frame and windows dirty. Soap dish in shower had hole. Hot and cold in shower reversed. Rap party sing-along in another room x 4 hours (until 2 am one night). Summary... So close to ramp! If you are fish hard and are tired and will crash, its fine. Just needs a bit of TLC. Functional in a great location for a fisherman."

"The newly renovated room was very nice. My wife and I slept very well on the bed and made a nice breakfast in the small kitchen inside the room. We didn't try the restaurant attached to the hotel. Staff were very pleasant and responsive. Would definitely stay again in the future."
