"Booked this Resort for a weekend getaway. From the second we got off of our flight to the second we left, everything was to our satisfaction. We did not know until our plane had landed that the resort offered a shuttle service. You are supposed to schedule this service, which we did not but thought we would call anyway. Within 20 minutes our driver, Andrew arrived. He was funny, safe and efficient. Check in was a breeze. Our room was immaculately clean and had everything you wouldn't think to pack (a shower cap, q-tips etc.) The resorts views were breath taking and the food was delicious. All of the bar tenders and waitresses were quick, attentive and engaging. We will definitely be back for another weekend stay."
"My biggest issue was when I tried to sleep the band playing 2 floors below was echoing through the room. I thought they should be finished by 10, they were still playing and I was like maybe they're playing late... Then midnight hit and the band was still playing. When I checked out the front desk was rather rude saying it was my fault because I didn't request a new room AT Midnight!!! The food was blah, not bad but not great either. The Menus for all the restaurants didn't have much on them. A couple items we had to turn back, they tasted terrible and were poorly prepared. The price was ridiculous, between tons of taxes a $30 "Resort Fee" and $15 parking it was at least another hundred. The pool was a joke. Almost nobody is using this gigantic pool, after checking your room card to make sure you're a guest they make you wear a freaking wrist band. I was still soaking after the pool and wanted to keep the towel on me while I walked back to the room... They needed me to fill out a form with all my information. The rooftop pool is an extra $20 and doesn't really offer anything. Even if you just arrived and would like to see the first sunset at "Sunseeker" from the pool that's $20. The pools also close just after sunset, they have them lighted! The layout for a lot of the restaurants and bars is terrible. They've just tossed things all over, the sinks especially are done quite bad. The signs are terrible. I saw people walking into doors that didn't have anything saying it wasn't an entrance. The layout of the rooms is quite confusing. The exit signs are all over the place, it's hard to figure out exactly where to go for the elevator. They had absolutely no information about things to do and see in the area. I was planning on staying 4 days but left after just one. A complete disappointment, not worth my time."
"Great visit for a day. We did not stay at the resort. Food was great, had the lobster roll and I don’t think there’s a better place near to see the sunset. It’s a great add to the Port Charlotte area and we never heard any guests say anything but great things about the property. The pool area is really nice and large. There is no beach, but if you’ve done your research you know that already. There is a public park to the north of the property where you don’t have to pay to park if you are just visiting. Many restaurants and bars to choose from and we’ll return to see the sunset from level 7 bar once it opens. It’s 150 up and an outdoor bar that looks really neat. Lots of complaining in other posts but I didn’t experience anything but a great new venue. The exit of the property, if you are turning left to head north is very dangerous and something should be done immediately to make sure no one gets injured. We turned right and went over the bridge and then came back across going north on 41. It just wasn’t worth the risk to turn left out of the property."
"Incredible location. We are lucky to have such a place in Port Charlotte. You can tell, every square inch of this building was thoughtfully designed. Gorgeous. Highly recommend even if your just wanting a dining location. The food in every place is next level out of this world. We hope this place thrives here."
