Reviews
"Would not recommend. First checkout took longer than checking in than the deposit they gave some back in cash but never received it back on my card. This place is shady."
"Here's my honest review so that the consumer can make an inform decision whether or not to book a room... Pros: a)the room is an ok size, b)towels were changed daily, c) supplies like TP or soap were replenished daily, d) no bed bugs, no insects, no coach roaches found yet; e) rooms comes with a mini- fridge, microwave, and a good working AC and Balcony (which was wet and I never use it) f) TV is a decent size but old school type, they do however have Showtime and other channels, but no HBO g) it is close to the freeway, busch garden, the casino, and the grocery stores (publix or winn dixie nearby) Cons: a)they claim they have WIFI but never work (I even had the Indian staff help me set it up and he couldnt get it connected either), I had to go to Starbucks nearby to use their wifi; WIFI is the most critical element in a hotel. b) there is no closet( you have to hang your clothes by the Cabinet or window curtains); c) your car is vulnerable to vandalism or theft ( you will not have direct view of your car outside since you will be assign a room on the other side of the parking lot, and I had to check my car every 1 hour to make sure it's not tampered, sometimes it is safer to park your car by the Seminole Casino about 2.5 miles while you gamble some of your cash); Bottom line: if I feel my car is safe here or this hotel has a working wifi internet connection, I would never consider going to the Casino every night. Definitely not coming back again to this place. If you go cheap, this is what you get. So do yourself a favor: please do your research, UN-tightened your budget, and find a decent hotel nearby."
"I had made a reservation and already paid for it in full before I got there. When I got to the hotel, the receptionist told me my room was currently being cleaned and that it would be available in 2 hours. I came back 2 hours later, the room was still being cleaned because they were "short on staff", but it would be available in 2 hours. I came back another 2 hours later and this time, a different receptionist was there, but told me my room was actually not available. I would have liked to be told that in the beginning, not 4 hours later. They were not honest and were wasting my time."
"Stayed here last night with my husband. horrible experience. 1 we had requested a non-smoking room, our connecting room (which had no lock, just a couch pushed against it) was a smoking room. So i had the pleasure of coughing all night. 2 the sheets were so worn down that i had to sleep on the comforter. 3 no phone or clock of any sort in the room. 4 the only vending machine in the building was out of order and was also very hard to find. (also i never quite found the ice machine but im not sure i would have trusted it anyways) 5 only 2 small towels and 2 wash cloths for 2 adults; no floor mat and no spares. (and no phone to ask for more!). 6 check-out is at 10. room cleaning comes around at 9. the whole place just makes me cringe. the staff isn't very easy to work with, they either don't care or don't understand what is going wrong with the hotel. there is wi-fi, which isn't too bad and there was tv, but no manual. also it seems like they might have taken some Direct TV remotes after losing some of their own since they only have standard cable (with no guide). [keep in mind that DTV collects their remotes when you end your service with them] P.S. the whole building smells like a mixture of Ramen/Curry and cigarettes. My advice is don't waste your time here unless you're desperate. it might have been good a long time ago,but right now its not worth $47.94 for one night. maybe $25. Also, don't plan on swimming, cause the pool is still drained."
"Filthy, disgusting, rancid-smelling room with broken A/C. Too hot to sleep in. Our friends at the same hotel had a cleaner, nicer room with perfectly working air and the staff REFUSED to let us change rooms or get a refund. We were only there two hours, they said once we had lied down in the beds it was our room or we could just leave. I've been to dozens of motels, real dives too, and never once had a complaint about any of them. This one, however, is garbage, and I hope it goes out of business. Staff were generally rude and nasty to our friends before any of the above happened, too, and THEY WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO CHARGE YOU $10-20 MORE THAN THE PRICE YOU BOOKED ONLINE."
