Palazzo Lakeside Hotel

"This is basically an upgraded motel nothing more. They need to pay attention to the small details like the bedding, the towels they provide and the cleanliness of the balcony furniture. Just in case they want to respond with I wasn’t a guest it’s because my boyfriend booked it under his name. Don’t stay here it’s not worth the money especially the resort fee. This place isn’t a resort, I’ve stayed in plenty resorts and this is just an upgraded motel. Not worth a penny."

"The rooms are comfortable, but the walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors as if they were in your room. Free breakfast wasn't bad and organized. Tables get cleared quickly in order for people to sit and eat. The Palazzo is great!"

"My family and I came from California, we stayed Palazzo lakeside hotel for 4 days and it was nice. They also welcomed us very nicely Emily was very nice and welcoming so 10/10 service. Breakfast was not the best but can’t complain at all. I will recommend this place and will be back here when I come back to FL."

"I want to start by saying there's no way all these good reviews are real reviews. Place is seriously run down photos do not represent the room correctly. The breakfast bar is literally Hawaiian rolls white bread oatmeal and carrots and broccoli not kidding. I don't even know where to begin. Arrived at 10:00 p.m. went to our room to get in the bed. The sheet look like they have not been changed a few times. Went to the front desk and there was another gentleman complaining at the same thing. Not only were the sheets dirty there were no towels no wash rags. Two hand towels only in the room. The two guys at the front desk were very apologetic. Could not find any sheet sets. End up having two flat sheets and using a blanket I had in my car. Stripped and made the bed myself. They said the laundry service people did not leave any extras of anything. If I could have found another room I could afford I'd have been gone right there. Was the most miserable night in a room I've ever had. Next day went to speak to the manager said they cannot compensate me at all but they could send someone to totally redo the sheets. Was given the email shown in the picture to contact. Never heard a thing back from management."

"I emailed and allowed staff to know I would be arriving after 10pm for check-in. Pablo was prompt via email and asked when. I told him approx 10:30pm. When I arrived, a lady had fallen on wet tile due to staff not mopping up rain drug in from outside through the hall. They didn't know where a first aid kit was, or ice packs. I explained to them that I am a Nurse if she needed help, I could get ice from the machine if they told me where it is. They said no. Something was happening with the computer. I was in line about 20 minutes by this time. I was ready to lay down and go to sleep after walking miles at two Disney parks with my 9 year old daughter. The front desk would not allow me to stay even though my bank had already paid the room fee in full. He said they need to have a $50 hold on my card in case there are any damages. I did not have $50. I explained the rental car already had a hold. He refused to call the manager to see if there was anything that can be done. There was a lady next to me calling me insane and telling the staff to throw me out. He told me to just go. Go where? When I spent my last money on this place to stay. I ended up driving three hours to my family, in the rain, which is what I wanted to avoid. I read about the bad reviews, just did not believe them. Don't waste your time with this hotel! Also, they would not refund my money even though they would not allow me to stay. Police were called and stated it is a civil issue since the hotel manager is unavailable and front desk cannot give refunds."
