"We had an amazing stay at the Art of Animation hotel with our two young daughters. We rode the Skyliner until our hearts were content, it is a short walking distance from the hotel. We tried a lot of the food at their cafeteria style restaurant and it was delicious. Housekeeping did great - our room was very clean and perfect size for our crew. The arcade was fun - the gift shop was loaded with great souvenirs. Next time we stay, we will schedule less park visits so we can take a few days to enjoy the awesome pools!"
"This is a family budget Disney hotel. It is in a good location where you can get the Skyliner to Disney, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. I would recommend looking up the dates you are going as when I went, the Disney marathon was going on and I waited in line for a bus to Magic Kingdom for over an hour. However, the staff were great. The food was okay but nothing great. If you were going to eat, I would just wait until you get to the park where you get better food for the same price. I would definitely go here again. The rooms were so cute and the big car decorations were amazing!"
"For economy lodging, I guess that this fits the bill. However, these rooms are completely outdated falling apart we had a picture on the wall that was just laying on the wall in the picture frame, but every time you touch it, it would just fall to the floor you could see that it wasn't even a picture that fit, the rooms are extremely small. There's no way more than a family of more than 2 would be able to fit comfortably in there. The bathrooms have paint peeling off the wall and big bubbles in the paint ,the tub slopes down so you could fall down your not Careful! there's no set control for the shower pressure, and it's extremely hard the kids had to take a bath because the pressure was so hard it hurt. They do not serve your room on a daily base. You have to ask for it and if they bring you new towels. They consider that servicing.. no trash. Take out. No, making the beds no clean sheets. Unless you specifically ask! for a 7 day. Stay, that's just not simply going to work. We had to leave our strollers out in the walkway. Because it was not enough room to even put them in the rooms. All the faculty and staff were super nice and super helpful. So that is a plus! it says these rooms are fairly new but completely outdated and like I said, there's just so much maintenance that needs to be done as far as cleanliness. I would say a 3 out of 5 as well. We were pretty satisfied with how clean they were. But all the maintenance did not help that feeling of cleanliness.!!! It's also a Disney resort. Obviously to go to Disney World, but to get any. Of the Disney channels on Disney plus you had to pay for it or stream it through your own device. They did not offer that as a perk, and that was completely disappointing. What If you don't have Disney plus what if you don't have the app? I mean, just very extremely disappointing that that should have offered that. As far as the quick service food, it's all exactly the same. They don't change it up. It's all the same stuff. They only have like really 2 things for children, especially when you have picky eaters. Sometimes the food was fresh, sometimes it wasn't. I got celery sticks and carrots sticks to try to eat a little healthier. They were so frozen that they were just soggy and frost. the pizza at times was really fresh, but then you go back down. No consistency it'd be just eating cardboard! It was our very first stay at Disney World and we probably would never, ever stay at art of animation again. Was recommended by our travel agent, but as far as our needs. It did not meet that it was a lovely. 7 days we were at the park, the majority of the time, but we also had a 13 month old and so there was really even no room. If we stayed in the room for an afternoon to rest for her to walk around even so. I would not recommend this resort. Sadly on another plus side, the pools were extremely clean and there was 3 of them and not very crowded ever.!"
"We had so much fun here. The kids loved the little mermaid themed room. The room wasn’t the biggest but it was enough to unwind at the end of the day and have a good nights sleep. The main pool was amazing and the smaller ones were nice too. Food was good. Get the reusable cup it will save you lots on drinks. Transportation was good and there was hardly any wait for the Disney buses. Overall great trip and will stay here in the future if the opportunity arises."
