"Title: "A Taste of Hollywood's Golden Era at Disney's Hollywood Brown Derby." Review: Last week, I had the delightful opportunity to dine at the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios. This dining experience was not just a meal but a journey back to the glamorous Golden Age of Hollywood, where the original Brown Derby was a celebrated hotspot for celebrities. Upon arrival, I was charmed by the two distinct seating areas: a cozy outdoor lounge and an elegant indoor space. While I initially hoped to enjoy the outdoor ambiance, a sudden rain prompted me to choose the indoor setting. This decision proved advantageous, as the restaurant's interior is a testament to timeless elegance, featuring warm wood paneling and plush burgundy carpets, a tasteful update from the classic four-color checkerboard design. Despite not having a reservation, my wait time was remarkably brief – under ten minutes. The staff's professionalism and friendliness were immediately evident; they were neatly dressed, extremely helpful, and pleasant, enhancing the overall dining experience. The mood inside the restaurant was both relaxing and romantic, complemented by soft, soothing music. The service was prompt and attentive, setting the stage for an exquisite culinary adventure. The warm bread with specialty butter was a delightful start, followed by the Shrimp Macaroni & Cheese with Herbed Breadcrumbs and Smoked Gouda Sauce, a dish that skillfully combined comfort food with a touch of sophistication. I opted for the Plant-based Shepherd's Pie for the main course, featuring black lentils, truffled mashed potatoes, and glazed root vegetables. This dish was not only delicious and fulfilling but also presented with artistic flair, showcasing the culinary team's attention to detail and creativity. The Hollywood Brown Derby's menu offers a modern twist on American cuisine, reminiscent of the original restaurant's legacy. The atmosphere, service, and exquisite dishes all contribute to a dining experience that celebrates history and is a testament to culinary innovation. Why was this iconic restaurant recreated at Disney's Hollywood Studios? The answer lies in its historical significance. The original Brown Derby was more than just a restaurant; it was a cultural landmark during Hollywood's Golden Age, a place where movie stars and moguls gathered. Its recreation at Disney's Hollywood Studios bridges guests to that illustrious era, allowing them to experience a slice of cinematic history. In summary, the Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios is a dining experience that transcends time, offering a taste of Hollywood's golden past with the comforts and culinary advancements of the present. A visit here is not just a meal; it's a journey into the heart of Hollywood's glamorous history."

"The Hollywood Brown Derby is an exceptional restaurant. It is the best restaurant that I’ve eaten in within the last year. The filet mignon is beyond comprehension. The chocolate cake melts in the mouth. The unsweetened tea is delicious. The best part of the restaurant is Ryan. He seated us and went over all the best items and told us the story of his grandmother and how she orders the grapefruit cake. He is exceptionally polite and provides customers with the highest service."

"We were lucky to get reservations at Brown Derby during this holiday season. Last time we dined at Brown Derby was 12 years ago when our kids were young and I remember it was amazing. We had only appetizer, salads and drinks because we didn’t want to miss Disney Hollywood Fantasmic show. Crab Louie was a big winner! Loved crispy olive bread with tossed micro green, capers and Louie sauce. Cobb salad was typical and it was good. Beet and Burrara salad had a beautiful presentation. For the holiday season, they offered fun drinks with lighted ice cubes. Atmosphere and service were what made our dining experience special."

"Tried and true! Thanks for your commitment to great food and ambience. Have the Cobb Salad! It’s the very best dish and ask for a table with Fonzie as your server. He’s friendly, knowledgeable and consistent. I eat here every time I’m in the park. The atmosphere is relaxing and a great way to get out of the heat and crowds. Be sure to make a reservation unless your party is small. Worth the wait!!"
