Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

"We don't have this in Disneyland Anaheim. So we had to come here to Disneyworld Florida to experience it. The weather was nice and breezy when we got on, not hot or cold, so we enjoyed the ride around Tomorrowland. There were a lot of little spots where we could take pictures as we listened to the audio queues."

"Disney's PeopleMover is an attraction located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. I had not been on this ride before at Disneyworld or Disneyland, so I was interested once I knew it was a slow moving sit down type ride that goes around Tomorrowland and through different rides such as Space Mountain. Here's where things get interesting though. I had decided to ride this while Space Mountain had been down for nearly two days. At first, everything was normal. However, the ride broke down inside the first Space Mountain section where normally it would be pitch black, however, because Space Mountain had been down, the maintenance lights were on, giving me full visibility of the ride. This was cool, however, 30 minutes went by and the ride still had not started. Finally, probably 40 minutes after we "broke down," a Cast Member announced we would be evacuated from the ride. Add another ten minutes on top of the time we waited with almost no communication and it started getting annoying. Finally, we were evacuated, and walked along the track to the nearest emergency exit. Unfortunately, I was told not to record (annoying). While the ride itself is OK, and I rode the PeopleMover fully a day later, and I understand the ride rarely brakes down, and even more rarely gets evacuated, the whole situation was annoying. We were given a free lightning lane in return for waiting which ended up being useless as it was close to 10PM at night, and we had already purchased Genie+ for the day. Overall, 4/5 for the ride itself, the ride having to be evacuated created an annoying situation and lowers my rating to a very low 2/5."

"The Peoplemover is a relaxing ride that gives you a birds’ eye view of Tomorrowland. This ride usually has short wait times, so come here if anything else is long. The trains are aesthetically bland, but the main focus is the views and narration. There’s many views of Tomorrowland; including TRON, Astro Orbiter, and Space Mountain. There’s a portion where you go inside Space Mountain that’s pitch black. However, the rest of the ride is pretty good; as it expands on Tomorrowland and the ideas behind it. Overall, would generally recommend Peoplemover,"

"This is one of our favorite rides to relax on and enjoy the view of Tomorrow Land. You can even see the new rollercoaster Tron being finished and tested from here. The ride goes through Space Mountain so it gets dark and you can fell the AC working and hear the riders screaming of that ride. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of them. This ride offers and elevated view of Tomorrow Land and is a great way to check out the lines for the rides in this section of the park. You also have great views of the castle and speedway. It has a unique walkway ramp up to the ride and a moving circular walkway to board and unboard the ride. This is one of the original rides in the park and is loved and enjoyed by many, inclucing us."
