Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando South-Davenport, an IHG Hotel

"Not a good experience for a Holiday Inn. Basic amenities, nothing special. So now for the room and hotel. The hotel in itself has paper thin walls. You can hear every sound made from adjacent rooms. Yes, I know it’s a hotel but this particular hotel is worse than the Holiday Inn @ Lake City I stayed in the week prior-much worse. At night, there was a large amount of light shining into our room from the hallway. Not just under the door, all around the door frames too. The bathroom was the worse. Water was only warm, never got hot. Definitely regulated by mngt. Leaky tub faucet and the handle was easy to pull off of the valve. The bathroom door would barely shut and when it was shut, my small son could not open it because of rusted and warped hinges. There was mold on the shower curtains and the tub faucet was separating from the wall. Mattress and pillows are in need of updating. Sheets were nasty with stains, who knows when they were last changed. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again. The location is bad run down area off the interstate with limited stores. For $200 a nite, I would expect a lot more from a Holiday Inn"

"This place was absolutely disappointing. The room tiles moved whenever you walked on them as they were not secure on the floor. There was no trash can or bags in the room. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The door never closed no matter how hard you pushed to close it, the shower was rusted and the shower head and handle was loose, the bathtub was not clean and the toilet seat was broken and disgusting. The breakfast was mid as the pancake machine was broken but there was cereal and cinnamon rolls. The service was normal when we checked in. Honestly I would not stay here as the rooms are the reason you're staying and they were absolutely terrible. Would not recommend"

"Checked in early, great customer service. Room was very clean. Stayed on the 5th floor very quiet. Love that the beds have pillow options soft and firm. Easy access to i4 and very close to the big shopping center with variety stores and near resturants and gas stations that also have charging stations EV."

"Was there for a wedding, and the block price was only for 2 nights, but they extended it to 4 nights for me. I got there earlier than I expected, and without me even asking, they let me check in early without having to pay extra. The rooms are a good size, even for the smallest, and they have nice soaps in the bathroom, not those cheap things you usually find. It's practically surrounded by food trucks, and has gas stations right nextdoor. Not far from Orlando or Tampa. Breakfast was good, but as far as the bread products go, they were a bit stale. But it's free breakfast."
