"My wife and I along with our 10 year old stayed at the Spectrum Resort in Orlando this past weekend (Friday to Monday). The room was nice so no problem with that. The problem was, when we checked in we were give a folder with information regarding the resort and phone numbers to call if we needed anything. We had a unit above us, that is where the problem started. Saturday night the people above us were very loud. It sounded like they had children running around all night. This went on until at least 11:30. Sunday, was even worse. I called both numbers that were provided in the folder we received when we checked in. Each time that I called a voicemail would pick up. After the initial greeting from the voicemail the phone would simply disconnect. I tried calling 5 times, using two different phones! The noise the people above us were making was unreal. It made it almost impossible to get to sleep. This went on past 12:00 and if that is not bad enough the noise started up again at 2:00am. The inability to reach ANYONE at the resort was extremely frustrating."
"Great place for vacations. Excellent service, comfortable rooms, great fields to play golf. The water park is great for kids, and it is really close to most of the theme parks. There is even a Walmart just 5 minutes' drive away if you want to save costs on food. I would definitely stay here again."
"I had high hopes for this property and wanted to appreciate its excellent building and layout. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the incessant noise from the family living above us. While we're accustomed to some level of noise from upstairs neighbors, the constant running and screaming of children from dawn until dusk were beyond tolerable. Upon lodging a complaint with the front desk, we were informed that the particular apartment causing the disturbance was not part of the rental pool, rendering them unable to address the issue. Frustrated by the lack of resolution, we returned to the front desk seeking alternatives. Their initial suggestion was for us to contact the security guard, which struck me as unprofessional. After expressing our continued dissatisfaction, they proposed the option to downgrade to one of their townhomes or move to another unit they had blocked off, but at a cost—over $100 for a cleaning fee. I found it unreasonable to pay additional fees for the inconvenience caused. There is also inconsistency when it comes to answering emails. My mails were only looked at when I referenced them at the end of our stay. Beyond the noise problem, we discovered soiled sheets and pillowcases, and encountered two cockroaches a day before our departure. Despite the property's aesthetic appeal, there are evident issues that need addressing, and a shift in focus towards customer satisfaction is crucial instead of prioritizing apartment owners."
"I was going to give this place a great review. The facility is new, and the rooms are spacious but that's about it. Extremely poor service. Do not stay here!!!! Buyer beware!!! The people who manage this resort will find every opportunity to charge you. They will charge you for stained bedsheets and the tiniest stains on beds, rugs, etc. This is a business without a human heart. The manager didn't care that we were dissatisfied with the service we were getting when we complained. After paying over $2000 to stay here, we went out one day and asked for our room to be cleaned. On getting back, we realized our access code into our condominium no longer worked. They charged us for the cleaning fee and stains on the bedsheet of over $200. Our little one had a nose bleed over the night and stained the sheets. They said they had to discard the sheets. They are not a hotel. Stay here if you want to go broke on a vacation. They also charged us another $300 for little things not being organized upon check out. You have been advised!!!!!"
"I wish I could give them less than 1 star. The management know nothing about hospitality, they are customer hostile. They just want to milk the hell out of you. They charged my family over 400$ for bottles and items on the counter top, trash in the trash can, stain on rugs and sheets, it’s like they have never heard of cleaning. Hotels/Normal Resorts don’t do this and they reuse items. If you stain their rugs/trash can they probably gonna charge you the cost of a new rug/trash can. They offer no cleaning services except upon check out like “duh”, they help with nothing. If nothing, they make your holiday more stressful. The management even threatens guests. What a joke! I wish the owners of the resort homes knew how bad the management team is, no wonder the place is EMPTY."
