Surf & Sand Hotel

"This place was packed in February! It is pet friendly and many of the guests had pets. That being said it was quiet. This is a very well ran hotel. Heat didn't work when we got to the room. We called front desk, which answered immediately, they sent maintenance and he was here within 5 minutes and fixed the issue."

"This hotel is inexpensive, has a fridge, microwave, & coffee maker in each room. Bikes, kayaks, & paddle boards are free to use, also a pool, a fire pit, & a grill. It's on the water & across the street from the beach w/ no other buildings in between. Cute surf themed rooms"

"The service was awesome! My flight was delayed, and they greeted me by name when I finally arrived. The breakfast was good, but most days, I slept past breakfast. Location was centrally located and within walking distance of most everything! I will definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to my friends and family."

"Location was amazing! The room had a funky smell, but nothing that couldn’t be cleaned up real quick. Not sure the floors had been mopped in ages….. The wall under the surfboard decoration placed by the bed were super filthy from what might have been footprints? But again, no biggie. Parking was never an issue, the receptionists were sweet as could be. The location was right by where we needed to be for everything. All in all we would stay here again, but I would bring more cleaning supplies next time!"

"I have to say the staff was amazing. The front desk people, the lady Elisabeth that was over breakfast, The maintenance man Lonnie,that replaced our refrigerator and the ladies that cleaned our room were all very nice. Thanks for making our stay nice. The rooms were very clean. It's close to everything. We enjoyed the firepit. There is a nice swimming pool with lots of chairs also a place to fish. If you need a ride, they have a golf cart to take you. It is pet friendly."
