"I don’t think I would have my dog today if it wasn’t for George and OnHowliday. I have an amazing Tamaskan named Thor, Thor is 4 years old and about 50lb. When I moved to Miami a year and a half ago Thor was a very different dog than he is today. Thor had severe separation anxiety and anxiety in general, he was uncomfortable when he was left alone and would hurt himself in a very strong crate. He scrapped his lower K9s on his crate, had numerous cuts from his create. When left out of his crate Thor would howl, try to escape, or injure himself, he broke several windows and cut himself badly. After a very bad experience with another trainer in Miami, and several bad experiences with local dog siting companies of no fault of their own. At Applause Your Paws (He Tore his dew claw climbing a 6 ft fence), at Dog Dude Ranch (he broke his K9 off and tried to bite staff when using slip leash). I was desperate to find something that would work for Thor I was lucky enough to find George, I reached out and asked if he was willing to watch Thor during the day while I was at work. He said he would like to meet Thor and myself and we set a time to meet the next day. When Thor first meet George, Thor was very defensive and aggressive, he did not want to go to a new daycare and stay in a new place. George asked me about Thor and his history, he showed me around the yard and the play areas, told me about the training he does with the dogs. George said he was willing to work on Thor and to help him gain his confidence. I was relieved, but was unsure how Thor would do those first few days. To my surprise, Thor began to do very well over at Georges house, he was exercised and tired at the end of the day he got plenty of play time, and was eating better at the end of the day. Slowly his commands started improving, especially commands coming from others. Once Thor began to do well at daycare , I began leaving him with George when I went out of town, I was surprised at how well George was doing with Thor. Due to COVID my living situation changed and didn’t not allow me to have Thor with me, I asked George if he could board Thor Full-time and I would come visit and pick him up for day trips or weekends. I can not express how grateful I am that George agreed and boarded Thor for 8+ months.It took several months to find a place where I could have Thor and work from home, and that time was very hard, however I knew Thor was being well taken care of, that he was learning new things and that the time away would help with his separation anxiety. When I got Thor back and moved into me new place, I felt like he was a different dog in all the best ways. He learned so many things in that time with George, he learned how to swim, he learned how to play with balls and toys and fetch, he learned how to walk on a treadmill, he was create trained, he was able to stay alone in the house and not break anything or try to escape! He also listened better and was less anxious, his eating habits were better. George had Thor work with a young female trainer a few times a week and Thors listing to females and general comfort has greatly improved. I can’t say thank you enough to George for everything he did for me and for Thor, if you need a dog trainer, help with an anxious dog, create training, if you need dog daycare, if you need boarding for weekends or holidays, if you just want your dog to get playtime with other dogs and some training a few times a week. There is no better place for your dog to learn, exercise, and play than OnHowliday."
