"We have stayed at the Sunset Place Resort in the past and the rooms/stay was excellent. recently, we reserved a room in January and had to cancel. We canceled on 11/23/21, well within the cancellation policy. After a few weeks we had not received our reimbursement for the deposit and I contact the resort and spoke to Angela, she was extremely helpful and honored an old cancellation policy to get us our full reimbursement; which we greatly appreciated. When we canceled our reservation, we spoke to someone else, not sure of the name, but they were rude and not very helpful, argumentative in fact. They did cancel our reservation, but never requested our credit for the deposit. I am mentioning this last because there was ultimately a resolution due to Angela making things right. Because of the outstanding customer service that Angela provided, we will definitely stay again at the Sunset Place Resort, this was not the case prior to having our discussion and resolution with Angela 12/7/21. Thank you Angela for redeeming our faith and taking care of us!"

"Place was clean, neat, the view was fantastic. Our door wouldn't lock but someone did come & fix it. One bedroom had a king bed that filled the room. 2nd bedroom was a loft with spiral stairs & had an on-suite & Queen bed. We enjoyed our stay. Would go again. 3floors no elevator so if stairs are an issue request 1st floor when booking."

"We have been staying at Sunset place for 5 years. The new managers have done a GREAT job at improving the grounds and overall atmosphere at the Resort. The new dock gate is awesome and is a piece of mind having everything locked up. Brian walks the dock multiple times a day which is comforting...THANK YOU!! Our only complaint is that there are not assigned boat slips. They are first come, first serve and there are not nearly enough slips as there are condos. We do not ever take the boat out in the evening for fear of loosing our spot and are always nervous coming in after 330 from scalloping. We would be willing to pay a daily fee for a slip if they had more and it was offered."

"Arrived with my wife last Wednesday for a little R&R. We had never been to Steinhatchee before and really didn't know what to expect. Wow! We were blown away by the view. It was the main reason we chose this hotel but didn't realize it was so spectacular. Even the nighttime view with the blinking channel marker lights was great. We spent countless hours on the balcony just enjoying the ocean breeze and cocktails! Loved the crystal clear and warm pool. The staff was polite with a warm southern twang and Brian helped us with getting a rental boat from Sea Hag Marina right down the street. We are boating novices( I'm sure it showed) and Brain would see us coming in to dock and he would rush down to help us ,whew! As far as the room went ,we were put into #199, it was like opening a page in Coastal Living Magazine! Just beautiful. Totally unexpected . Comfortable king size bed, snuggle blankets everywhere an a fully appointed kitchen with beautiful stemware and place settings. I was later told by the manager Angela that each unit is individually owned and that our units owner hand etched the wine and rocks glasses, great touch. What a great stay, thank you Sunset Place we will be back soon."
