"We just did an overnight stop. Called about 2 hours a head of time. Office closed when we arrived just before sunset. Site was easy to find and well marked."
"Very nice park. Host received us after hours in the rain. Very comfortable stay. Recommended by me."
"What a fantastic little place to over night or stay for a while. The location is excellent for the area. The place is so well appointed for a small park. The roads are clean and even. The real show case though were the bath houses and the "club house". The bath houses were very newly renovated and done in such pleasing style and very welcoming. The clubhouse was like a large combination living room and your teenage kids dream of a basement game room. Spacious, comfy furniture, a large screen tv, a few arcade games including a brand new air hockey table and a pool table. Just beautiful. Kudos to the owners. Also super easy "automatic check-in"."
"This is a great campground. Comes with clean restrooms Fitness room and a game room, even has a park. It's kid and pet friendly"
"We were too late in the game to get a spot near the beaches, but this was an ok home base for our visiting purposes. They are in the process of adding really good upgrades like a game room, exercise room, a club room and a pool. None of that was finished while we were there but will make nice, needed amenities once complete. They do have a good playground and open space. The sites were fine, mostly large gravel and big pieces of blacktop in sand. Some trees in a few spots might be too low for some big rigs. It was quiet, we only spoke with one couple who left the day after we arrived (Sunday). There does not appear to be an age limit on RVs and I'd say most of the people there are long term residents. They have RV storage in the back of the park. A small highway runs along the entry side of the park so there is considerable road noise. Each site had a VERY LOW picnic table that would be difficult for older people to utilize, and an enclosed fire ring. DeFuniak Springs is a small town with lots of charm downtown and we have that a day of exploring, but we made the 30 minute drive almost everyday of our week long stay to Blue Mountain Beach and that was just lovely."
