Peter Millar

"I went into the store today to return an item from Christmas for exchange and was informed tersely by the young lady working there that collegiate items are not returnable at the store. I had already looked at the website and read the enclosed leaflet with the item that said it was fully returnable at the store. The young lady offered no apology, no assistance for helping make the return or information on how I might best make the return. I asked her that as a customer, how would I know that this item was not returnable at the store and all she shared was that the leaflet is sent with all purchases. Another gentleman who seemed to work there approached me during the conversation but offered no help or response. I found the encounter to be unhelpful, unprofessional and beneath the expectation I have always had and experienced of Peter Millar store personnel. Appears this is an issue at this location when I read the other reviews of late. Fix this or lose customers. Does anyone else find it perplexing that a collegiate cannot be returned at the store but can be returned online? Also, do you find it perplexing that this information is not shared on the website or when placing such an order?"

"The gentleman in this store is not what I have experienced at Peter Millar in the past. He had almost an immediate attitude and was not super willing to help. I think he was the store manager? When I asked questions I got almost an annoyed reaction and a very short response. His facial expression said it all that he really did not care to help me while in the store. The other associates were great and were willing to help. Maybe this is just this guy’s personality, but for a someone in this business, it’s probably not the greatest idea to carry this attitude into work-especially if this is guy is managing this store. Maybe he was having a bad day, I’m not sure, but the way he comes across really makes you want to leave the store in a hurry. Either way not super pleased with my experience in PM today."

"I’m a fan of the clothing but this store is terrible. I tried on a shirt in the fitting room and the manager barged in on me and started tucking my shirt tail in. Worst part was the St. Louis rib lodged in their mouth and the barbecue sauce all over their fingers."

"The absolute worst customer service. Store manager is rude and was unclear about store policy and eating a chili dog the entire time she was folding my new clothes and checking me out. Stained my husband’s white shirt. Disgusting display of retail showmanship."
