"My overall experience was great. But I think CVS should pay their people more. As someone who used to work at the store 4 years ago, I noticed not much has changed (in most stores, including this one) when it comes to how overworked employees are especially in the front. Front store employees have to do more now than I did, because I didn’t have to do self check out. That means they also have to be attentive of those people to to make sure they aren’t stealing. That plus checkout, lottery, money gram, stocking candy, front store facing, stocking truck merchandise (I only had to do it Friday’s but I think some stores now have multiple days a week). Thats not taking into consideration the crazy couponers that come in daily to add more work. That’s just a lot for just $15 in a state where the living wage is $21. I’ve had Esmeralda a couple of times and she’s always a delight. She is always helpful and kind. Today I was running late and she was quick with my purchase even explaining some coupons I had which I will be coming back to use. It reminded of when I worked at my store in Miami Gardens. I hope she attends me the next time I visit. She was great!"
