"You can't even get a decent response for an emergency for a second. But you can drop them off. That's just totally inconsiderate. My dog really needs to be seen as soon as possible and leaving a dog. There aren't putting undue stress on him just makes the matter worse. My dog could be dying. I wish somebody would call me."
"On December 23rd, at 1:45 PM, I contacted Benefield Hospital seeking prompt assistance with my dog's nail trimming. Regrettably, my interaction with shanitza was characterized by a low and nasty attitude. As I inquired about availability, she dismissed the request, deeming it too challenging, while, shockingly, another employee beside her engaged in inappropriate laughter regarding the situation. This unprofessional behavior during a simple inquiry about a routine procedure raises concerns about the overall service culture at Benefield Hospital. Pet owners, like myself, should be able to trust the professionalism and empathy of the staff, especially in situations where quick and compassionate care is needed. Moreover, this experience makes me ponder how the hospital would handle more critical or emergency situations. If a routine nail trimming can be met with such indifference, it leaves me questioning the reliability and dedication of the staff in more urgent scenarios. I share this review to shed light on the disheartening experience I encountered and to caution potential clients about the level of service they might receive. One star reflects my disappointment in the unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, and concerning attitude displayed during my interaction on December 23rd. Carlos ocampo"
"I've now been living in Fort Lauderdale for over two years and I've been taking my two pugs Lightning and Linus to the Banfield pet Hospital located in Fort Lauderdale at the 1700 North Federal Highway location. Both of my pugs have been patients there and participants in Banfield's wellness programs which can save an owner a pretty penny over the years. Both Lightning and Linus, where originally patients at the Banfield pet Hospital located in Salem Massachusetts, which was the closest location to where I lived at the time and because of the great treatment that both of my pugs received at that location I decided to continue taking Lighting and Linus to Banfield pet Hospital as soon as I move to Wilton Manors, back in October 2021. Right from the start, I was impressed with the service team from the technicians who greeted me at the front desk when I dropped off Lighthing and Linus to be seen by one of their vets and this feeling carried over as soon as I met the rest of the team at the Fort Lauderdale Banfield pet hospital location Over the last two years, I've been able to observe and form a strong opinion as to the care that both of my pugs Lightning and Linus received at the Fort Lauderdale location and this opinion is one of nothing but five stars no question top rate. And in particular, when Linus had to have surgery to remove a growth from one of his eyelids and later on, also have surgery to remove a large fatty growth from Linus' front underbelly I was absolutely impressed by the final result of these two surgical procedures In particular, I would like to give thanks and praise to certain individuals who I have come to know over the last two years while Lightning and Linus have been patients being cared for at the Fort Lauderdale Banfield pet hospital location at 1700 North Federal Highway and my apologies for anyone who I may have excluded from this list: Mary, Tee, Melissa, Jamila, Deja, Giacomo Kassis, and the veterinarians J. Griciute, Elise Santos and special thanks to Anfisa Kazachok Sincerely Mark Florentino and Keith Florentino and Lightning and Linus Wilton Manors, FL December 9th 2023"
"Here I am again. The harressment is terrible. Banfield Hospital is still giving us a rough time. They keep trying to contact me, saying we owe them money. Not acknowledging her death. They say someone local will contact me, but no one ever does. When she was struggling, we brought her there. Precious time was wasted as they brought her out to tell us they didn't have an x-ray machine to check her lungs. What hospital doesn't have an x-ray machine? It shouldn't be called a hospital if you don't have the machines to examine a pet on the verge of death. All you want is money, for what? Services not rendered? Are you kidding? I'm sick of the harressment. Why don't you stop???!!! That becomes bullying, stocking us. Yet we went into the local hospital, and they gave us a song and dance, "ohh it's not us. We can't contact Corporate. It's Corporate calling you. I called Corporate, the first time 1 hour, and 20 minutes, nobody picked up. 2nd time, 45 minutes waiting, somebody picked up, then hung up on me. What kind of organization is this? DO NOT GO , DO NOT !! They don't try to work with you. It's terrible while we grieve over a precious family member passing away. Is this a way to take advantage of grieving parents. Rest in Peace, Chanel. Even though Banfield won't let you rest in peace."
"Banfield love’s our babies, they have all our trust for the best possible care. This location is very busy, which forced us to locate a more adaptive care still trough Banfield pet Hospital OWP. Looking back, the wellness plans would have kept the best memories with us longer. Our family appreciates all the teams and locations. Thank you for being the for the best and worst."
