"I’m so glad I found Dr Martinez and her amazing team! I didn’t get the names of the ladies out front, they were very sweet and helpful. The specific lady that helped me gave me all the different lens options without pushing or up selling, helped me select the right size frame for my prescription and was very cheerful. Dr Martinez was awesome! very knowledgeable about my eye issues, very reassuring and cheerful. She did not at all try to rush through the appointment like so many Dr’s do, she was very thorough and answered all of my questions, bonus that she knows my eye specialist personally! She is our new family eye Dr! Oh the office is very nice and clean."

"A negative in front of that star would be closer to the mark! My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Martinez-Faulkner for over 10 years now. She's always been a phenomenal doctor and the office she ran was always superb, especially in the care she provided us as her patients. She always takes her time and is very thorough with her exam, taking a sincere interest in her patients. This is in complete contrast to what my husband and I experienced since new management took over. The sheer unprofessionalism demonstrated by Ashley and Sonja are so beyond comprehension that I'm still in utter disbelief. The consolidated version was my husband and I had two appointments one at 10am and the other at 10:30am. We have three kids (2, 4 and 6 years old) so rather than bring them into the waiting area, we agreed I'd wait in the car while he completed his appointment, and I would enter as he was coming out. To my amazement when he came back to the car he said my appointment had been cancelled by Ashley. I had texted my husband throughout, and the doctor knew I was waiting. Upon my husband exiting the exam room, even the doctor was amazed my appointment was cancelled and tried to accommodate, but Ashely refused. The whole thing seemed so strange to me I was sure it was a mistake. My husband would later relate to me that after the Dr. apologized to him for the cancellation she went to the back and was followed by Ashley, who came back moments later exclaiming she was quitting, all the while providing a complete narrative of her dissatisfaction. Without knowing any of this, when I went inside (thinking I could explain I had been waiting outside) I was met by Sonja who refused to hear anything I was saying and instead was immediately aggressive toward me, pointed a finger in my face saying that she had an employee in the back crying (for reasons I wouldn't know anything about). I had to ask her to please keep her distance. As much as I tried to reason, explaining that even if I'd come in Dr. Martinez wouldn't have been able to see me until she completed my husbands exam, she simply kept yelling and invading my space. To my disbelief, Ashley walked in from the back and threatened to call the police. I honestly feel like I was in a bad episode of the twilight zone. Neither of these women have any business dealing with the public, and as a manager I would not allow this kind of behavior or environment in my office. Working with people is hard, but that doesn't give someone license to be aggressive and belligerent. It’s unfortunate that after 10+ years, this incident has caused the office to permanently lose my family's business. I never want to go into that office ever again!"

"My family and I have been patients of Dr. Martinez for over 15 years, but what I've experienced from the time myeyedr took over, I will NEVER go back to this office again, nor would I recommend this office to anyone. Not only did they lie about my insurance coverage, they gave me the incorrect prescription, and claimed Dr. Martinez reviewed and signed off on it(if Nicole was still there, this would have definitely not happen). The staff members: Raven and Ashley were very rude and unprofessional, and the manager Sonja was no different. When I tried to explained what happened, it was like talking to a brick wall. Her response had nothing to do with what I explained. I want her to know there's a difference between hearing and listening, and she should look it up. I can honestly say that Dr. Martinez probably has no idea what is going on. The prescription was not signed, it was stamped with her signature. Called my insurance company, and not only do I have coverage, they email me a copy which clearly showed my eligibility. This is what happens when you hire your patient to do a job of a professional."

"Dr. Dusk Faulkner-Martinez and staff are on point! I have been a patient for years. I got my exam and glasses taken care of in no time flat. If you want to be educated about your eyesight; Dr. Dusk Faulkner-Martinez is your physician. She’s so knowledgeable and on top of her game! She’s the best eye doctor I’ve “ever” had. My whole family goes to her office near Sunrise Blvd. and Nob Hill in Plantation. We see only her. Even my daughters who live in another state and Florida city make appointments just with her. That is how much we value her care. Sonya the regional manager, Elena the optician, Raven the technician and Ashley the office assistant, all extraordinaire; and are always eager to help you. They help each other in many different ways, which is a very nice office culture to witness. Keep up the good work ladies! Also, picking out glasses is made really easy with their collective knowledge and flair for style; that help to compliment your facial and eye structures. It makes the process less stressful and you get eyewear that is so flattering; along with keeping your peepers healthy!"
