"I had surgery with Dr. Spera yesterday 2-2-23 to remove my breast implants because I was suffering from “Breast implant illness” and the symptoms were out of control, I couldn’t take it any longer and was desperate to get my life back. I have to say that I went to several consultations with other surgeons and from the moment I met Dr. Spera I felt the click. He is absolutely amazing, he took his time to listen to my concerns and reassured me everything would be fine. I want to thank the operating room nurse Melissa and the anesthesiologist Jason, they were very supportive and friendly throughout the whole process. I have nothing but good things to say about this doctor and his staff. I feel wonderful and it’s only been a day!!"

"Had breast augmentation and a "lollipop breast lift". The staff was nice but very disorganized. I meet doctor the day of my surgery, he was in a rush. Meet with me maybe 2minutes and didn't see him again. A few months later I expressed how unhappy I was. The size and the shape. He said he should of placed a "high profile" implant. But he never gave his professional opinion suggested it, it was all his assistant that helped decide and gave her opinion. The office offered me to "waive" the charge of Dr. Spera, but I'll have to pay for the anesthesiologist and the surgical fee. I decided not to have it. If he didn't do a good job the 1st time, what guarantee I have he'll do it good the 2nd time?! Now, after 4 years, I have to have a correction surgery, change implants, go under anesthesia, pay all over again and go through this pain again. These 4 years I've been self conscious and depressed. Please, DO NOT GO HERE. Spend the extra $1,000 to $2,000 and get a better result and experience!!!! Don't go through what I'm going through."

"I went in for a breast augmentation in 2014, from the beginning the doctor wasn’t communicating enough, to the point where he just put the implant and didn’t explain that I also needed a breast lift. Once I had the implants the first night I had a fever and it got worse from there, I developed a red lump on the bottom of my left breast and it was very painful to the point where I could not sleep on my left side because I would wake up with very sharp pain on my left breast. I contacted Dr. Spera and his office staff plenty of times, more than I can count so that I can go to the clinic for him to check what was wrong. Every time I went in he only looked at me for a few minutes and then would leave brushing it off saying it wasn’t a big deal, he wouldn’t check my breast he would just tell me that the pain was normal and that I should just massage, I went in several times complaining about this pain and the lump just kept getting worse. I had to go to another surgeon for a second opinion once I saw the lump was purple and that surgeon confirmed it was an infection, a bacteria eating away my tissue, that surgeon had to call Dr. Spera and demand that he take off my implants. This surgery cost $5000 and I never got my money back, I’m still paying for half of it and I do not even have my breast augmentation anymore, I was also left with multiple scars including the indentation where the infection/bacteria was. Him and his staff took NO RESPONSIBILITY for this, they brushed it off and all of them were RUDE AND ARROGANT, like if I went in there asking for a free surgery when in fact I paid him. P.S. as you might have already noticed there are other people with similar complaints and this doctor and his staff are so rude they have the audacity to reply back to these unhappy clients in a very condescending and rude way. This is not how you treat clients, SPECIALLY unhappy clients that just basically gave their money to this office for free."
