"One of my patients wanted his medication to this CVS location and this specific medication wasn't covered! I try to do the prior authorization but insurance didn't cover it. So, I try to use some type of manufacture coupon so the patient can get his medication! When I called this pharmacy, they didn't help me at all! First, they said the coupon has to be activated so I did call the company to activate it. When I call CVS back to provide the coupon code, they said it is not working while I already knew coupon must work if they know how to use it! So, I finally decide to change the medication to something else and I did send it next morning. I called CVS to see if the received it! OMG!!! The pharmacist was so rude and he told me he didn't get any prescription for this patient and they have no information for this patient at all! I was surprised!!! How that possible??? I told him that I did speak to another pharmacist yesterday and she did find the patient in the system. We were working on another medication yesterday but medication wasn't covered and that's why I send new medicine and trying to see if it is covered or not! How that possible you don't see anything???He goes I don't know what you talking about and I'm the only pharmacist here!!! I had nothing to say!!! I knew he was lying!!! I gave up for the day! I called the next day and another lady picked up and she confirmed me that the medication was there and they did receive it the day before!!! Some people choose their profession in the health care and refuse to help patient related matters. It's a shame!!!"
