"Dr Surowitz is an outstanding doctor. I had the unfortunate experience of being ill and I needed someone to take care of a difficult patient, me(I am a physician). He exceeded my expectations with every office visit. Dr Surowitz made an accurate diagnosis with an incredible array of available resources, x ray lab, etc at his facility and then he checked with specialist in the area of my problem while I was there and made treatment recommendations that worked quickly I can not say enough for my medical care. My wife is a Nurse and she was equally impressed."

"Dr Surowitz is a wonderful physician. My husband and I had been going to him for over 10 years. But... ever since this VIP thing went into effect, we can't afford the very high yearly cost, so we see either the NP or a different Dr. The office staff has always been very rude and unhelpful. The waits were always over an hour and sometimes they would just forget about you. But this was all worth it to see Dr Ron. Now that we can't see him .... well there is no reason to go to his office anymore. We have since changed PCP and actually get treated respectfully from the staff now."

"Started out as a great experience and place for my Healthcare. Every since the VIP program came into play wait times have been horrible, as well as responding to patient needs, something as simple as filling a prescription can take days or weeks. Great doctors but just understaffed since the VIP program."

"My experience at Family Practice has been nothing short of frustrating. The staff is very rude and not willing to help you. It is impossible to talk to a nurse on the phone. You have to go into the office for everything, including getting your test results. I had to go into the office to be told I have slightly high cholesterol! That could have been done over the phone or via letter. I was very sick a few weeks ago and the nurse did not diagose me with anything when I went into the office. I was sent for blood work and was never called with the results. I called two days later because I was not getting better and wanted to know what my results were. The front desk told me that I could not get my test results and I could not speak to the nurse and I had to make an appointment to come into the office to be seen again. I called back again a few days later when the office was closed on Friday so I was able to get the on call nurse. If the office was open I would not have been able to speak to the nurse. I understand the doctors want to make more money by charging our health insurance for office visits but shouldn't the health of your patients come first?? I paid for my office visit and only wanted to speak to a nurse for follow up care because I had questions about my symptoms. I would never recommend using Dr. Surowitz office to anyone. I have changed PCP and I am so happy I did."
