"The building and people are nice. They are grossly understaffed- my cna had 15 patients the other day. She is supposed to have 8-10. The drs are too busy to make rounds so they send well dressed 20 something’s to do their rounds. Completely useless bc they can’t answer your questions. I had terrible blood pressure problems and they denied me a cpap machine even though it was ordered and I use one daily. My oxygen was low and the cna left my room and never came back with a simple tube. How do you treat hypertension without the correct tools? I asked for 3 days for the cpap and a shower and was denied, spent the 5 nights on the same sheets, and the cleaning lady used water to clean and sterilize my room bc she doesn’t like the smell of the chemicals. So the entire place is filthy but looks clean. They were leaving saline syringes in the top of the used needle bin and injecting it in my veins. I think the nurse that gave me Covid was the one whose gloves smelled like chicken wings. She walked around touching everyone with the same gloves on, so now I have Covid. The nurses are great when they are able to see you. But with 10 or more patients they don’t have time. Almost every nurse was great, but if you can’t get a shower or a clean sheet, they are understaffed in the worst way. Unfortunately I have to drive 40 mins to get to this hospital bc again unfortunately it’s the best you will find. Not good If you are going to let a hospital kill you, at least this one is aesthetically pleasing. One day I will be terminal, hopefully a long time from now. I will die at home rather than slowly fade away bc of red tape."

"The new wing for surgery is beautiful. The waiting area is very comfortable with a out door area. Complimentary coffee and tea. The staff was very pleasant. Extremely clean. Parking is tough however they do offer Valet. All areas and restrooms were very clean. Gift shop offers a lot of items reasonably priced. Doctors are excellent. Highly recommended. Although you can get a little lost with all the different areas."

"My experience at Jupiter Medical was excellent. Everyone was friendly and professional. Everything went exactly as planned. They answered my questions in a clear and concise manner. My sinus surgery was very successful. I can breathe better than I have in decades! My wife and I have been patients at JMC a few times over the years.  Each time was a positive experience."

"My 97 year old mom was taken into emergency on September 22. From the guards in the entrance of emergency to the woman that checked us in and everyone we encountered were wonderful. Once we got to see mommy, the nurses in the treatment area were terrific I particularly want to acknowledge and thank Madalyn who helped mommy cuddled her as if she was her own grandmother. I I believe the ER doc was Dr. Allison. He was great with mommy. Also Stephanie another nurse was very nice. Please acknowledge Madalyn in particular and give thanks to Doc and Stephanie. Thank you for your clinical care and compassion."

"Whoever runs the billing and insurance department should provide a model for the actual medical facility to follow..They were so quick and efficient with getting my 86 year old grandmother’s insurance information and collecting her copay - but the urgency and attention to detail ended there. The urgency ended once the copay was collected- and sadly this is not the first time I’ve had this type of experience here years prior with my pregnant wife- we actually left Jupiter and had her transferred to St. Mary’s where she was quickly treated successfully. I should have known better and taken my grandmother to St. Marys, but went to Jupiter since it’s close to her home. The facility was virtually empty, yet getting updates or any attention from anyone was a challenge. I watched two shift changes, and each time had to walk around to find someone to beg them for updates..not the experience I’m used to when you bring an elderly person into the ER with possible stroke symptoms. Such a beautiful new facility and their main focus is on paying for it. Don’t forget to actually tend to the patients..if you want a sense of urgency (or even for the Wizard of Oz doctor to at-least give you and your loved ones 2 minutes of their time for an update or to review the plethora of tests they ran), go to St. Mary’s. This ER facility was a ghost town and they can’t use the excuse “we were tending to other patients” because there weren’t any! I get that tests take time to run and this visit was at 3:00 PM on a Friday- I’m not asking for magic, I’m asking for better communication with the patients. Maybe access to drinking water? Maybe don’t make an 86 year old woman sit in a medical chair for 6 hours with no pillow? The billing lady brought her a blanket..lol..couldn’t get anyone else’s attention for that. Good job billing department- you’re doing your job. Everyone else? C- grade at best. I know if I get chest pains from the stress of dealing with these people I will be going to St. Mary’s. It’s sad because I’m a longtime Jupiter resident and like to support our community but not dealing with them here again. Shame on me, because as I said, a similar scenario happened about 2 years prior and I figured it was a one off..nope. I’m done with this facility. I gave 2 stars because the Paramedic tech who set the IV line and the nurse who gave the discharge instructions were very nice and this wasn’t necessarily their faults at all."
