"I just left this location because unfortunately, they didn't have anything. I needed, but on my way out an employee, a white guy says to another employee, a young black woman "when I first saw your hair, it made me think of Medusa... you know the one with the snakes coming out of the head". I found that to be very rude & culturally insensitive. You just don't say things like that at work to a female and then culturally its insensitive. Personally her hair was very pretty! Walgreens please train your employees to be more sensitive or keep their comments to themselves. Thank you."
"Avoid this pharmacy at all costs if you can. They are extremely slow and always run out of basic cheap maintenance meds like metformin. Communication is horrible too. If you put in an Rx and there is an issue, you have to follow up with them to find out what the hold up is. They will not take the initiative to contact you and let you know somethings wrong with insurance or thatvthey are out. There could be one person in line in front of you and you'll still wait 20-30 minutes for service. The 24/7 CVS on Dunn down the street could have 5 people in line ahead and I'm in and out in the same amount of time. And CVS actually call or text if there's an issue with your Rx with instructions. The rest of the store's personnel are great if you are just using it as a convenience store. But the Pharmacy sucks."
"Just go to CVS if your insurance covers it. They're a hot mess and the way the pharmacy is run is inefficient which just wastes everyone's time. Even with how busy they are, they will also always find time to hide in the corner and chat. They're also quick to catch attitudes so there's no space to talk to them even speak up about their terrible service. I would say try another location but this is common at most walgreens."
"The worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced in my life. Rude staff, loud, inept, ZERO idea about protected patient health information as they bellow out your info or ask you to bellow it out for the entire store to hear, and they’re perniciously understaffed. Answering the phones while customers are in line and having an attitude about it. Can’t find which bin the Rx is in etc… Long waits whether in store or drive through and basically going there leaves you with an icky feeling after the ordeal is over. Apparently endemic to this chain and needs corporate overhaul. Also an overhaul to those in corporate who don’t care and just shovel back down ‘expectations’ to district leaders to resolve. Racial component as it seems subpar service is standard in urban communities or something filed out to black customers generally (like being asked if they know the price for the Rx because it’s expensive and they’re not sure if you can afford it). Sick… no pun intended."
"dropped off my prescriptions after having some teeth pulled. My dentist told me to fill it asap due the pain i will be in they said 2 hours. Sent my brother 3 hours later they are telling him because I do not have insurance they do not fill these prescriptions but they are going to fill it this time but will take 2 more hours, I called corporate and made the complaint. I finally got my meds not due to the call. This is discrimination disrespectful and not professional. I do understand there is a drug problem in this country but 12 pain pills from a denture dentist should never be a problem especially for someone who hasn't filled a script in over 2 years.I was in a great deal of pain and I blame Walgreens for their lack of care for their customers pharmacists are NOT doctors but they should still care about peoples health and well being"
