"I was at Florida Hospital with a chopped up big toe from a lawn mower Monday evening. Dr. Crigler was called in for surgery at around 11:00pm. (After 53yrs, I can't believe this happened to me! But Dr. Crigler arrived at the hospital after her long day of work at her regular office and came in all cheerful and ready to work! When the surgery was completed, I had NO pain at all and she preserved most of my toe where it appeared that I had mutilated most of it with the tractor! But Dr. Crigler spent extra time working after hours with my procedure preserving as much tissue as possible where many other doctors would have done an easier amputation procedure. Dr. Crigler came in to see me two days later in the hospital and was exceptionally patient with me and my questions as she reexamined my toe. She found everything to be in excellent healing progress as we were not sure if more tissue needed to be removed. It did not as yet. I am so pleased with Dr. Crigler's expertise, patience and friendliness. She will forever be my hero! After months of follow-up care at Dr. Crigler's office, my toe had no complications with the long healing process. She literally had to sew loosely hanging pieces of tissue back to a toe. This was all way to the bone and the tractor blade cut off part of the bone. Now it looks like all that happened was that I lost a toe nail! Dr. Crigler is the very best surgeon in podiatry. Especially since I have been to others, I would not recommend anyone but Dr. Crigler."
