"This hospital has somewhat restored my faith in the medical system. We were scheduled to have the baby at Winnie Palmer but instead drove straight here, that was the best decision we made. I wouldn’t let Winnie Palmer deliver my cat even if they were the last and only hospital choice."
"What a breath of fresh air this hospital has been for my family after our horrible experiences at Winnie palmer. I came into the ED for decreased fetal movement. I was taken back to a room immediately. They took me seriously and ran some tests that were all done in an extremely fast and timely manner. They were about to discharge me when one of the kind Drs noticed I was still feeling uneasy about being discharged. She took the time to come back in and she was going to show me on ultrasound why she felt comfortable sending me home. Instead, she noticed some concerning things and admitted me instead. I was transferred up to observation where I had a wonderful nurse named Paulette. All the nurses were extremely attentive and nice. I ended up gettin induced. I did have to wait awhile for the induction but I was just grateful to be having one. My night nurse Ashley was so sweet and amazing. My day nurse Shannon was equally amazing and listened to all my concerns. Every single staff member and nurse I have come in contact with here has been extremely nice and caring. I am currently on the mother and baby floor with my nurse jadxia is who is so kind and thoughtful. I am so glad that I came here and this was a healing and positive experience for me."
"I was admitted here for 26 days with Severe asthma. This was the worst hospital stay ever. The first 7 days were all good, every one was very nice. But as the days went on, the nurse an became so rude. The doctor was a good doctor at first. But after two weeks, the all became so rude and disrespectful. It was horrible. I felt like I was being punished for being sick. Also, there was a different nurse that accused me of smoking a cigarette in the bathroom while I was using the toilet. She walked in on me and clearly saw that I was NOT smoking. Instead of admitting she was wrong, she became so damn ghetto. They were so darn rude. And there was a charge nurse by the name of Tessy or Tressy that yelled at me in front of every one, putting my personal medical business out in front of everyone. . So ethically unprofessional. Also, they NEVER had any food on this floor. 7th floor virtual floor. PCU. They gave me milk that was rotted. I spent so much money having to buy for from the cafeteria. I spoke to supervisor, and the House Nurse and the House Nurse was probably the worst one. She was so rude and pathetic. She really sucked at getting result. I left theere after 26 days. I was disgusted at the treatment I recieved. I would not refer this hospital to any one that I care about. REALLY!!! Especially if you are going to have a long stay as I did. Overall I give them a ( -10) I'm a very sick person. I am hospitalized at least 6 months of the year. And this hospital was by far the WORST hospital I have ever been to. Don't be fooled because the hospital is huge and it has a Disney section for children. They suck!!!"
"Came here with contractions at 35 weeks and didn’t even have to wait to be taken in. They monitored me and my baby, checked everything out, got us hydrated and gave me medication. And we were out of the ER within an hour or so I’d say. Everyone was kind and listened to my concerns. It was a very good experience and I will be back here to have my baby in the next 5 weeks for sure."
