The doctor explained to me the importance of vaccines and preventive medications against heartworm, fleas and ticks and about the benefits of dental care and sterilization of my dog ​​before her first menstruation. "Edit: their response proves my point exactly. As a pet owner who has visited this clinic various times, I feel disappointed to even be writing this review. Yesterday I brought my cat in a rush to Caballero’s, as she had blood gushing from her mouth and she was meowing like she was in pain. My suspicion was that she had broken a tooth. When I got there, the person at the front desk stared at me, saying nothing. I walked up and explained the situation and asked if my cat could quickly be seen, and I was denied due to them getting ready to close. It was just a little before 3:00pm, when their hours go for the day until 5:00pm. I questioned it as I have brought my pets many times around this hour and have never had an issue, always opened with welcoming arms and quick assistance. I was told that due to there being no more appointments, they decided to close early. I understand that this clinic is not an emergency clinic, but this was 2 hours before closing, and there was no sympathy or any help shown whatsoever so my situation. The lady provided a list of other vets I can visit, but only because I asked in a panic so I can take my cat to get the help she needed. I’m grateful that for my cat this wasn’t an emergency situation, but this kind of behavior from them really shocked and angered me. I used to recommend this vet for my friends looking for a place where compassion and care can be found, but I would say stay away from this clinic. They do not care or show any willingness to help pet owners and pets in need. If you want to find people that will, Banfield, or quite frankly any other vet is better than this place."
