"I had a lovely first time experience here with Dr. Torres. While we couldn’t get a complete diagnosis of my parakeet (because she’s very small and operating on her would’ve been too risky), Dr. Torres did what he could to help my Zelda with her discomfort. We did X-rays and removed fluid out of her abdomen. Super quick and easy and Zelda was treated with care."

"I found this place a little too late after reading the bad reviews here on YELP. They saw my bird with little notice but the vet spent one minute with me and quickly took my sick bird to the back and after 30 min seen by his assistant. Then came the fees and series of test, which account to over $500 for tests, just to find out what was the issue. I told the vet, this was my second visit in one week, and wanted a second opinion from another vet. He told me he would call the other vet but never did. Then came the assistant with the list of charges. Right of the bat it was $75 for the visit and $85 for oxygen, which I did not authorize. I'm in now for $160. for nothing. I got charges for another $500 for tests to find out what he might have. I guess this is their way of making money, with exploratory testing. I was there 2 1/2 hours and never saw the vet again, I dealt with his assistant and told she would call me later on. 3 days later I've yet to hear from anyone there, and even used their own texting service to advise them that I wanted a call from the vet and still nothing. I've gone to vets before, and never had this level of bad service from a vet. Not even a follow up call. I guess the money here is more important then even faking the fact that they care. Never in my life has a vet left me without even making a minute to talk to me. Its quite despicable. I feel they have ripped me off!!!! PS---He only responds to me minutes only after I post the truth, which was negative. Since when, does any doctor spend 30 minutes, in the exam room discussing what is wrong with a patient, not even a regular human MD does that. So he lies and does what he can to make himself feel good. He seems to care big time about his reviews, more then just spending a few minutes with the pet owner. I guess I don't care about my pet since I took him to you for a second opinion. Glad to say you were wrong again, since my pet is doing well and ALIVE. Any decent vet would spend 1 minute with their clients to discuss a plan of action. Any client would expect at least that."

It was my first visit with our new Quaker Parrot (Mango), it was not easy to find an Aviary veterinarian and I'm glad we found Dr. Ramon de Armas, DVM of Paws and Claws Medial Center ! Jackie the head nurse was also excellent. The Doctor knew everything about our bird and we feel very fortunate to have found them, THANK you guys for the attention and service !"
