Dr. Sandra Diaz - Emergency Dentist

"Update: Be aware of recent multiple good reviews on Dr. Diaz clustered in the same day. These exact same reviews are posted on different websites. I highly doubt these reviews are from genuine patients. It’s unlikely that multiple patients post the exact same reviews in the same day on multiple websites. This is another red flag of her questionable ethics. Sandra Diaz is incompetent and unethical. She turned my two healthy molar teeth into pain that requires root canals. Please avoid her dental procedures or at least seek a second opinion. Her treatment can cost you money and permanent damage on your teeth. The good reviews on Google are for the previous dentist, Dr. Addison. Check Mint Dental (the old name of this dental practice) on Yelp for more reviews on her overcharging and lying about cavities. I deeply regretted that I did not persist in resisting her “cavity” treatment even though I had suspected whether there was any cavity. I had sensitivity to cold and hard food after getting dental fillings from her. After the third time she fixed them, they become painful and totally unusable. She had also tried to push me to fix three additional “cavities” and getting a custom night guard, which further proves that she identifies problems that do not exist."

"This is a great place to take care of your teeth! The team was very professional, examining, and explained very well what was going on as well as provided me solutions by priority. I had to fix an old filling, and Dr. Diaz did a great job; I felt I was in great hands. The best dental care I have ever experienced! "Do your homework, read these reviews! The majority if not all of the great reviews here as another poster said are for Dr. John Addison who sold the practice to Dr. Sandra Diaz. I was a longtime patient of Dr. Addison and Dr. Mark Fisher before him, both outstanding in this business. I gave Dr. Diaz a try and she was totally unprepared, did not have the medication on hand I need prior to the start any procedure BUT made sure to have her staff ask for a big payment up front. Since her office didn't have on hand what was needed, I stopped the her before she began. Unbelievably I was asked if I could go fill the prescription and come back, to which my reply was no, I've already taken time off from work for this appointment and I wasn't doing it again. I left with my check they insisted I produce before I even walked in and wasted my time as well as theirs. If she or her staff took a few moments to read my detailed history from years of coming to that practice, they would've hopefully been prepared. I must add that the long time Hygienists who are still there from before this Dentist took over are outstanding, the Dentist from my experience is not."
