"If I could give a 10 I would. After being ignored at the A1A upon just arriving after a 3 1/2 hour drive frotlm the West Coast. We decided to walk to get something to eat and someone suggested A1A and we walked in was sent upstairs and was seated right away. Well that's all we got after waiting for 5 to 8 minutes we left and went right to South A Philly. Best Phillies ever awesome onion rings and fried mushrooms. All I know is the 2 young men were super friendly and welcoming and very helpful with some suggestions. Grade A number 1 10 star review for here. Thank You so much."

"I moved from Pennsylvania 4.5 years ago. I miss authentic Philadelphia cheese steaks and had a craving for one. So I gave this place a try. I ordered a cheese steak with fried onions and hot peppers on the side. It was delicious. Definitely the real thing. I highly recommend it."

"The food was as it always is fantastic and a delight to the senses. But my only critique is that the young woman working there at the front counter and doubling as a line cook(props for the diligence and multitasking), was especially standoffish and incredibly impersonal. She didn’t make eye contact at all and rushed through the entire process without really even acknowledging me. She just seemed like she hated everything and was completely disinterested in making any remarks. That’s fine and all, but a restaurant is only as good as its service. Wonderful food though I would recommend definitely. The cheese steaks are phenomenal. One last small remark, booty shorts aren’t necessary to wear at work."

"Cool place! Cheesesteak was good, lots of meat. I ordered mine with lettuce tomato and mayo (cheesesteak hoagie) they put the veg under the steak so the lettuce was soggy. Cheese fries with cheese wiz hit the spot, and we played pinball! They have some great machines (Led Zep??what!!?!?) Great location. Recommend!!"

"Food was hot & delicious. Waffle fries were crispy & good. I'm not normally a fan of cheese whiz but it good on the fries. I subbed the cheese whiz on my Cheese Steak for American. If you want mayo, ask for it. Overall good. The place was clean & napkins are on the wall. If you don't mind the sound of the video game machines, this place was great."
