"This is fine dining. Absolutely delicious! We've never been disappointed and tonight was no different. We stated with chocolate martini s made by Phil. Then Caprese on delicious bread, the mozzarella was soft and fresh. I had Frutii Di Mare, OMG it was phenomenal. My husband had Poppy's Tortellini ,again delicious. The atmosphere is so relaxing with a staff of smiling faces. The portions are large and the quality is top shelf. Just had lunch with the left overs. Omg just as great as dinner was. Don't miss out on this wonderful authentic Italian restaurant."

"Delicious! Do yourself a favor and stop by Poppys. Everything was great. From the beginning, to the end. Service was perfect, too. The only minus, I'd say, is the dining room felt slightly crowded. Also, I don't appreciate the credit card fee of $4.50. Not classy."

"My husband and I spent our Birthday dinner here tonight. The wait was short, service was good, and the food was on point! It was delicious Italian food, felt like Nana's cooking."

"Went out for the early bird special dinner before 5:30pm. We had 5:00 reservations for a party of four. Connor was our waiter. He was very attentive, had a smile on his face, and truly made us feel like he wanted to be there and make our experience the best. We were served with bread and garlic bread, a choice of soup or salad, and an entrée along with either beer, wine or sangria. I hate to mention this because I don’t want it to get too popular but that was $20 a person for the early bird special. I highly recommend it and plan on going very soon. I’m going to request Connor‘s section. On another note, this place also has outdoor seating and a bar."

"Last evening we dined at Poppy’s Italiano in St. Augustine. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! We started off with drinks at the bar while we waited for our table. It was a small bar offering adequate staples, the bartender was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and Italian. We got to our table and ordered toasted ravioli for a starter, and house salads. The ravioli and accompanying sauce was phenomenal. The house salads were perfect down the the feta in the house dressing. They also brought out some fresh garlic bread; it was amazing and decadent! Couldn’t get enough! For our main courses we had Milanese with chicken and a side of risotto as well as the Pasta Combo which featured lasagne, cannelloni, meat ravioli, and baked ziti all under a “blanket of cheese”! It was all so good. Bring your appetite or be prepared to take some leftovers home because their portions are hearty, the food is so good you won’t want to stop eating! Also the staff is friendly, attentive, personable and warm. I will definitely be eating at Poppy’s again!"
