"My cat Dewey had to have a catheter put in due to a blockage, he was taken in over night and I took him home the next day . Dewey still had a blockage shortly after returning home. I quickly took my cat to the emergency vet. I understand that this may be common in cats however the emergency vet was able to tell through an X-ray that my cat had over 20 stones STILL in him and also dangerously anemic. I was charged $1000 for my trip to Edgewood including X-rays and was told that my cat “didn’t have that bad of a blockage”. Im confused as to how they would not have seen these stones. It is still unknown as to why he was so anemic. The emergency vet guessed that my cat may have been BLEEDING OUT OVER NIGHT WHILE IN EDGEWOOD ANIMAL CLINICS CARE. This been almost a week and I am very hurt with how nonchalant the vet addressed the situation. My cat now needs a cystotomy, I am financially strained and completely regret trusting this clinic. Which is very unfortunate due to my family bringing all of our pets here for years. Sadly we will not be returning. I hope my cat Dewey makes it through."
