"I've loved this place for the past 3-4 years. Everyone is very helpful, I've got one of my snakes from them. I'm also there on a weekly basis for some Live feed."

"I typically do not leave reviews, but this one is needed. If you are a beginner like I am, do not trust this store to be transparent of their snakes' genetic health. My top priority was owning a snake without the wobble trait. I did my research and knew what red flag words to look out for in the morph names. Additionally, I asked a staff member for each and every snake I showed interest in to confirm. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I still purchased a snake with the spider gene and he is showing signs of wobble now that I have him home. I am so discouraged and upset in the research and time I put into picking him out. Not only did I compare his genes to my list of red flags, but I also checked with the keeper on staff multiple times, and they assured me that he carried no spider. I've gotten many second opinions and all have said that yes, my snake has spider and wobble, and yes, his card was falsely labeled. Yes, I was misled, whether intentionally or unintentionally. I am keeping my sweet boy as he is already a huge part of my family and so loved. However, I am disappointed in this store. I recommend that you look elsewhere, especially if you are a beginner."

"We love them here they are so very knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. I get all my snake supplies from them and even my mice from time to time. Recently went there for some small water dishes for some new babies we have."

"I visited Family Reptiles to get some special dirt for my pet beetles (purchased elsewhere) so I could upgrade their enclosure. They had what I needed in stock, and their prices were amazing. I wrongly assumed that prices would be higher due to it being a specialty shop, but was happily surprised to the contrary. I did not pick up any new friends on this trip, but I've got my eye on some nice isopods, and maybe more beetles, for next time. Just don't tell my husband."
