"Do not get a covid test at CVS, the company does not understand medical billing codes, so the insurance will reject it and you'll be in the middle trying to get minuteclinic to update the billing. They'll hangup on you after saying the insurance company needs to contact them, which of course the insurance company will not do. How a covid test is billed as a doctor's visit is beyond me, you handed me a tube, I stuck it up my nose and gave it back - and I'm charged for an outpatient visit like I spoke to an actual doctor... CVS and minuteclinic are taking advantage of public fear and over billing everyone to make a quick dollar. Shameful. Covid tests are free, go ahead and try to bill me..."
