"Terrible customer service in the Pharmacy. they hate their jobs."
"Very disappointed with the customer service at the pharmacy. I was told my insurance did not approve my prescription and I wanted to understand why. I was repeatedly told I needed to speak to my insurance and/or my doctor to get something else prescribed. In the past, at other pharmacies, I've been told I need my doctor to approve a generic or prescribe a different format (pill instead of liquid for example), etc. They've gone as far as placing the call themselves or suggesting a coupon. My experience here was like pulling teeth. It felt like the person behind the counter was not listening to my questions because I kept getting the same response to each one and she was visibly becoming more irritated by what I assume she perceived to be my inability to accept or understand what she was telling me. At one point I could see and hear her huffing and puffing as she was looking up my history in the back. I ended up getting the information I needed so I can follow up with my doctor, but I will not be going back to this pharmacy. There's a Walgreens right across the street and two Publix pharmacies within a 1 mile radius. It's never okay to treat someone with disdain, let alone a paying customer."
"Had a very poor experience here, I wouldn’t recommend. My son was sick and we had his RX transferred here as we didn’t realize Publix didn’t take out insurance, but CVS did. I was told it would take 48 hours for the transfer… after I told them this was for my sick toddler and that wouldn’t work, I was told they would see if they couldn’t get it done today. I was very explicit that the most important was the antibiotic and ear drops. Hours went by and no one called me, I had to call them to see if the scripts were ready. Then rush over there to get them before they closed. Never once was I notified that the antibiotic was not available. Upon arrival, which was about a half hours before closing, the young girl and the window was not friendly by any means. You could tell she didn’t want to be there. When I asked why no one called me to let me know the scripts wasn’t available I was told by her ‘I don’t know, but we don’t have it, so I don’t know what to tell you’. When I asked to speak to a manger she said I could speak with the pharmacist. She then took the phone away from her mouth to speak to the Pharmacist so I wouldn’t hear her, but I didn’t need to hear her because facial expressions tell all. I am a firm believer that you conduct yourself accordingly no matter if someone can hear you or not. The Pharmacist then came over to speak to me, acted puzzled as he could have sworn they had the antibiotic. He then goes to look and comes back to confirm the person who I spoke with when I called in must have been confused as there is another medication with a smilie name. It’s not reassuring to a parent or anyone for that matter to hear that people whom are filling their scripts can’t distinguish between one medication to another, this could be very dangerous. When I asked him why I didn’t receive a call, he stated ‘I don’t know why you didn’t receive a call, I know that’s like not cool’ ‘but I don’t know and we don’t have the antibiotic’ I couldn’t not believe that that is how a professional speaks? I was bewildered and at this point exhausted as this left me less than 30 minutes to find a place that had the meds for my son. Thank goodness for Publix right across the street, I raced over there and told them what went on at the other place, they promptly took care of it and made sure I had the RX in less than 10 minutes from transfers time to me cashing out so that I could get home to my son and made sure he got antibiotics in him that night. I will definitely never use this location again."
