"We have never had a great experience at any Banfield, but I have to say our last visit here was the worst. We took our pets here for a comprehensive exam as we are on the Optimum Wellness plan and we were beginning to run low on flea meds. The vet techs are AMAZING and so kind. I have nothing but positive reviews for the vet techs. The vets here? Nothing but negative. When we got the call to pick our boys up, no phone call to tell us how the tests came out or how they’re looking. When we got there, there wasn’t a vet who spoke with us about how their tests went. I asked the vet tech if we would hear from the vet and she was surprised we haven’t since my older dog had an odd elevated number on his bloodwork. Never heard from the vet. A tech called me to ask how the pets were doing and I stated I still haven’t received a call from the vet and I was worried - they said they would let the vet know to contact us. After multiple calls, we realized their vet wasn’t going to call us, so we scheduled a vet appointment elsewhere. Our dog did not make it to this appointment as he passed abruptly… From speaking with multiple vets and doing tons of research, there was no “saving” our boy considering his age, however, the elevation was the first sign that something was wrong and we could have done more to make him comfortable and help him be with us longer. Banfield took this from us. Just due to poor negligence on the vet’s part. We will not mention the vet name, as we feel this is a training opportunity for the team, but I sincerely hope this review is actually reviewed by the team. To some, if not most of us, our pets aren’t just animals we care for - they’re our fur babies, our companions. If you’re not able to treat them as such, don’t be a vet."

"Dr.Trompeta was extremely helpful and thorough. We brought our new baby kittys in for there first Dr visit and we are so glad we choose you all. From the moment we walked in the building we were met with courteous, smiling associates behind the counter. We were checked in quickly with minimal wait and the waiting room was so clean and organized. They even have a children’s area with Dr white coats and toys to play with. All the Vet Technicians we met were extremely knowledgeable and explained everything is great details and never rushed us at all. We even were able to sign our pets up for your wellness plan due to great information given to us on how to maximize our savings over the next year. "I took my dog Mimi to Banfield lake Mary, in hoping they could help her with fluid drip, they took her in the back room and put her down (without my consent ) then charged me 400 dollars when they gave me back my dead dog. No medical reason was given. This place is a pet butcher factory filled with unlicensed amateur “vets” . They know nothing, they care nothing but $ The pic is her before we went in. She was fine! Can’t believe they killed her in the back room for no reason"

"Banfield really came through when my little girl got into a fight and her face was all torn up. For whatever reason on that particular day I couldn't get her in for an emergency appointment anywhere near me, so I called the Altamonte location who told me Heathrow had one appointment. When we got there everyone was so nice, and I felt like there was zero judgement. Honestly I was a little afraid of that due to her being a bully breed but they immediately took her back and got her all fixed up. A few hours later I was able to take her home. They even gave her a certificate of bravery which just about made me cry, it was so cute with her little paw print on it. When we go in there everyone is always so nice and the appointments go quickly. Her face is just about all healed up, the fur just needs to grow back but I really think they did a great job. The wellness plan was a huge help because all of her follow up appointments are covered. Emergency surgery, meds, and wellness plan all came to just under $1400 which is really no higher than what I've seen elsewhere."

"Everyone here is super friendly and helpful! The facility is super clean. My puppy came down with Kennel Cough. I was super worried, but they took great care of him, answered all my questions and now he’s back to normal. The wait time to pick him up either took exactly how much time they told me it would or shorter. Highly recommend!"
