"Bet you can't find better service than Andre's even at the most expensive NYC steakhouse - it's that old fashioned and good! Gino took care of me on a Thursday night. The vodka martini with blue cheese olives was perfect. I vacillated between the NY Strip or Cowboy rib eye bone-in - Gino steered me to the rib eye and suggested medium Pittsburgh style. 2 minutes before it was served I was given a fresh hot plate and the steak was brought out pre-sliced, with a gorgeous char and swimming in butter and the plate placed on a tilt so you can spoon that butter onto your steak. Perfection. The steak had a nice crunchy char but a beautiful medium to medium rare inside and melted in your mouth. Just amazing!"

"I hadn't been to Andre's in several years but it's still the great reliable place for a quality dry aged cut of beef. Steak for Two was delicious & the sides were tasty. Our waiter Herman was first class & attentive & an expert with suggestions. I highly recommend a reservation as Season approaches, but there's a small bar to enjoy a cocktail while you wait."
