"Disappointing. My husband and I have been shopping on and off at Winn Dixie for years mostly shopping the sale items. Today, I pulled up our app ensuring the location was set to FishHawk and we began to shop the list we had in the app. We looked at the ad and added the new items we saw. As we perused the frozen meat section we could not find the item in the ad we were looking for. I asked the employee working the fresh meats if he worked that section and he said yes. He followed me over and I showed him what I was looking for. He told me that I needed to check the app to make sure it’s on the right store because he’s not seeing that item in BOGO. Then told me to talk to the manager that the manager is the only one who can change prices. I had the manager called and showed him the item. He said, “That’s next week’s ad.” Why in the world when I shop and open my app would next week’s ad come up instead of today’s ad? I’m shopping today. I could see having both ads, but when I click the BOGOS this is what it showed. Next week’s ad? The manager said he didn’t understand my question as he said the item clearly has next week’s dates. Ugh! I shouldn’t even need to look at that if I pull up the app and it showed only one ad. The customer service, pricing integrity and app functionality is sub par as of late. We are long time customers and I think it is time to part ways with Winn Dixie. Gone are the good ol’ days."

"Nothing special about this location. Meat products can be sketchy, you really need to read. In the past we were taking photos for review and the manager chased us out angry. Today it wasn’t awful. They were busy, and yet we got in and out. The man behind the meat counter was nice. As for Covid protocols, there aren’t any that I know of. I seen no distancing signs and nobody wore masks. The place is dirty, needs a serious clean. Parking is 50/50 win or lose"

"So we’ve been in this store a few times and it is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The fruits and vegetables look good. Then wine selection is ok but you still should be able to find something. The deli is ok not anywhere near what Publix has but better then nothing. The bakery does not have a huge selection and for the meat department and fresh fish they have a little selection to choose from. They have a pharmacy there that is offering COVID and other shots, you can exchange your propane as well and it is nice and easy to get to for us and easy to get out of unlike other nearby stores."

"This Fishhawk location is rarely busy. I shop the BOGO's here once per week. They sell 'Certified Angus Beef®' at this location so you are guaranteed you're buying upper Choice grade and not mystery choice. All the full service sections of the store (butcher, bakery, deli) are all partially covered up skeletons of their intended original size and scope. Also its worth a visit just to get access to a few different brands on occasion than I usually buy at WalMart (#1) and Publix (#2). List prices are no bargain. Shop the sales. Watch your expiration dates."

"This may be a little lengthy, but I assure you, it is worth the read... So, we had lunch at Hokkaido in the same strip mall and we needed just two items and thought, let’s just walk down to Winn-Dixie. As a responsible reviewer I snapped some pics as we entered the doors, to capture the overall ambience. Well, we started to notice around the deli area something was different. Indeed, it was different. 33% of the deli case has been blacked out and sat empty. We also noticed the great selection of prepared salads was greatly diminished. We continue on around the store to the meat department and notice the same thing going on. The meat cases were 33% blocked out and empty. This really got us thinking, what is going on here? So we approach the dairy corner, as we need some heavy whipping cream to serve our house guests White Russians. There were 4 of us looking, was there no heavy whipping cream? We finally found one offering for cream, and what do you, it was $1.50 more than our normal store. We were discussing this and a guy in a teal shirt came calling after us. Turned out Jon is the store manger and asked me to not take pictures inside the store. I felt this was quite odd. I was talking with him, apparently they are scared of competitors entering the store. We were dressed up and had the kids along. Very odd situation. I felt that Jon, the store manager was going to ask us to leave. I politely mentioned I was capturing pictures for use in my Google review of his store. It was the aggressive nature of his approach half jogging that caught my eye. Having the family along, I assessed the unknown stranger as a form of danger. He seemed to not be an obvious threat, so I let him approach us. We were very uncomfortable and simply left the store without purchasing anything. Overall, it appears this locations is in a state of decline and very afraid of competitors. We will only stop here for super deals on large cuts of meat for the smoker. This experienced sealed the deal for our shopping here. I consider the 3 star review generous."
