"IM SURPRISED AT HOW NICE IT WAS! Ive been up and down all of the coastline from miami to mobile and this is by far the nicest dollar general ive been to. Everything was clean and organized from the items on the shelves and front facing stock to the smell of the store and cleanliness of the floor. The parking lot and outside of the store was very clean too. the manager was very nice and passionate about her managing the store and was doing pretty good with morale and happiness for the other employees."

"I’d like to share my experience at this store today that really hurt my feelings. This is not the first time Not even the second time that’s happened to me, just because some employee in this store don’t like my race or what… Just because I’m an Asian they would never say any word to me nor smile at me but to others with nice greetings and some laughters. But it’s pretty ok with me ,I’m no special person who needs special treatment tho. What happened to me today was I purchased 3 items worth total of 45dollars and change. I though I had enough change in my wallet to pay the exact amount, I counted it in front of the cashier but unfortunately it was only about 41dollars. I had 100 dollar bill and just hand it to the cashier and say I’m sorry I thought I have enough change to pay the 45 dollars. The cashier’s face was like uh-oh 100 dollars??? She asked her manager if they have change for the bill and the lady who I think was the manager said no, but how much is the total? when she knew it’s 45 and change she took the bill , went just next to the cashier and took care of the money and after about a few seconds there was a loud sound of a thing slammed like she did close a box or something but why do you slam it like do you wanna just break it??!! I asked the cashier do you not take 100dollar bill? She goes well I just opened and I don’t have enough change. And I’m like ok. Because otherwise I can just pay you with my card. Then I heard a loud slam like….come on! Get mad at me cause I’m paying with a 100dollar bill for a 45dollars worth of stuff. My family has a franchise store in silver springs and we always make sure when the next shift opens they have enough change for bigger bills. hey it was 5pm when this thing happened. I would understand if this was maybe before lunch. Duh! Tired of them not being so nice to me! Guess what don’t worry about me if you don’t like me, I’ll never come back there no more and so my husband that shops there at least twice a month for almost 200dollar worth of stuff. nope we’re good. We lived our lives for over 20 years here without this DG. Anyway like I said never coming back again. I know I’m not a big loss to this store, NOT AT ALL but hey , I at least have the right to share this story to ya!"
