"Bought 4 tack sponges for $16. One of them crumbled on the first bridle. I took the sponge with receipt & packaging back to the store and they refused to replace it. I wasn't even asking for a a refund, an exchange is all I wanted. I managed a tack store in California & worked at the Tackeria in Wellington and know the cost of these items as well as the simplicity of asking the supplier or company to make good on faulty merchandise. A $4. Car & Day & Martin sponge should not fall apart the first time its used. The old retail saying that the customer is always right, isn't always necessarily true, but the customer is always the customer and hopefully one you hope returns & shops repeatedly!! They just lost a really good customer."
