"When I first came there, I was very fearful,as I found out I had macula degeneration. I needed eye injections, I was very frighten. While waiting to get my first injection, an older lady rolled in her wheel chair and asked me what I was there for. I told her and that I could take anything but a needle going into my eye! She laughed and told me she got injections ever month and did not even feel the needle going in,as they numded the eye, very well . So I went in and did not feel anything. One of the assistants held my hand and talked me thru the procedure. I started out with an injection every month, now my left eye is 20/20. I have not needed the injection as often. Only every 3-5 months. Itwill. need checking .for the rest of my life. It was only 10 years ago that they discovered a medication that could help this problem, before there was little they could do. I have had a wonderful experience at this eye center. I thank God every day for these great people that work there. Dr. Kumar and all the doctors there are concerned to give each patient the best outcome."
