"Elton is one of the most unethical and unprofessional therapists I have ever worked with. Elton listens not to his clients - but only to himself and his limited grasp of the human condition and psyche. He has sided with my other family members (such as my own father) and breaks confidentiality by illegally informing other parties of my personal treatment. He also had the audacity to call the cops on me for calling his office - to schedule another appointment with him - to inquire more about his malicious statements and allow me and him to "start over" after his disparaging and judgmental comments. No good therapist - or good person - would ever utter the rhetoric that Elton has spewed to me out of his mouth (he basically referred to my intentions of reconciling with my father "solely financial.") . Elton is manipulative and deceitful and created more harm than good for me and my family. Elton's rate is cheap compared to other therapists, but I guess that's what you get for what you pay for. I am incredibly disappointed, hurt, and shocked that this man even has a license to provide anything remotely close to "therapy." I am embarrassed that this man takes up any space in the mental health realm and am warning anyone interested in seeing him that - 1.) your rights will be violated 2.) the treatment will be damaging and worse for your personal betterment and success and 3.) he may CALL THE POICE on you like he did with me (how any ethical therapist would do this unless justified or warranted continues to perplexes me). Go to any other therapist besides Elton, trust me. I am still recovering from the damages he has caused while writing this review."

"I would like to say Mr Hume is a compassionate individual drawn to a underappreciated line of work out of commitment and concern for his fellow man. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I found him through a program at my school and sought his help, what I received was anything but. In our final meeting I watched Mr Hume deny the science his work is based on, deny the reality of the COVID pandemic, and disparage the LGBTQ community and it's members, like myself. I think his heart is genuinely in the right place, but with methods so flawed I recommend anyone seeking a therapist in Orlando to find literally anyone else."
