"When we first started Brysons journey into language I was really nervous. Specially because I didn’t like what I had heard from the first therapist I took him to. When I spoke to Evelyn for the first time I knew she would be the one to get Bryson where he needed to be. Bryson did speech for about a year and a half and the whole time everyone was professional, understanding, and really great to be around. In the beginning, Evelyn let me sit in her sessions and I learned ways to communicate with Bryson. Which helped at home so much. Incorporating play into therapy really does work! He learned so quickly and was always so excited to see Evelyn and Julie. It was never therapy to him, it was what games can I play with Evelyn or Julie. While we are sad we will not be seeing Evelyn or Julie anymore we are thankful he has graduated speech and that Reconnect Therapy connected our son to the world around him."
