"My primary care doctor referred me here after an abnormal pap smear. After waiting more than a month, I called to find out when I could expect to hear something. I was told they had to locate the referral. I was put on hold, and then told it was located, it was sent to them a month earlier, they just hadn't gotten to it. BUT! Before they could schedule an appointment with me, the doctor had to review my chart to see if he wanted me as a patient. After hanging up, I thought about the incompetence in the call I just hung up from, and decided no thank you. So I called back, and surprise! Doctor has reviewed my chart in the last 3 minutes and guess what? He will take me as a patient. Ummmm no. I will put myself in more capable, caring hands. Thank you kindly. I told them to tear up that referral and throw it in the trash, I will never step foot in their office. And honestly, I hope whoever has the job of handling the referrals in their office got written up for not doing their job."

"Dr. McGrath performed my hysterectomy nearly 2 months ago. Dr. McG doesn’t mind admitting his bedside manner could use some softening, but he is very, very good at OBGYN. I have been referred to him from other practices for his expert second opinion because he is the finest in his field in my region so I don’t mind his straight-forward manner. He performed my surgery as explained, but encountered unexpected problems during the procedure & dealt with them efficiently, safely, & completely. He checked on me the day after the surgery & explained what went on during my surgery & his opinion about those issues. He called me after office hours at home shortly after I left the hospital to inform me of my pathology findings. My first post-surgical visit was positive & assuring. My second post-surgical visit was terrific & he answered all of my questions & gave sound helpful advice. He was also available when I called his office to ask questions. Dr. McGrath is who I trust my GYN needs & health to, wholly."

"Absolutely love Dr. McGrath, and his staff! For years family and friends have recommended him. I recently had to have a hysterectomy and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome, I feel great! He's old fashion (which I love!) and a very honest and straight forward person that doesn't bs you about things. He's willing to go to bat for you with the insurance companies to make sure you get the treatment you need without going through hell to get it. "I am so grateful that my cousin talked me into going to see Dr. McGrath because of all the issues that I was having. He was very thorough and did a full workup and found many issues that were missed from my last OBGYN. We ended up having to do a total abdominal hysterectomy and he was wonderful through the whole process.
