"Dr. Manek is nothing but kind and compassionate, she’s reassured me my entire pregnancy and been a great source of peace… BUT getting a hold of this practice and getting someone, ANYONE to answer the phones here is like pulling teeth. They don’t respond to online messaging until the end of the work day, making it nearly impossible to speak to anyone unless it’s between the hours of 4:45pm and 5pm. I’ve had a high risk pregnancy and this has been cause for great frustration and ultimately led to me changing practices."
"BEWARE!!!! I had to have test done at the recommendation of Dr. Bordelon . His nurse only half sent in the records requested to 3 different other doctors. If you complain she has the Dr.bar you from the practice. I have gone to this Dr for 30 years and never a problem until they hired an incompetent nurse. This is a retaliatory action on the part of the nurse and will not be tolerated. I have never had a problem until they hired this employee. I will seek legal counsel."
"Dr. Rodriguez is an exceptional doctor who dedicates ample time to his patients, thoroughly understanding their needs before proceeding with any procedures. His utmost priority lies in ensuring the comfort of his patients. Despite residing in St. John's, Florida, I willingly make the journey to the beaches to receive treatment from Dr. Rodriguez due to the unparalleled comfort he provides."
"This is the best OBGYN office I’ve ever been to! They’re so helpful and kind here and make sure to accommodate and update you about test results ASAP. I specifically had a GREAT experience with Medical Assistant nurse Lindsay who works for Doctor Melinda. Lindsay is so sweet, and after I expressed some concern she got me in with Melinda the SAME day! Lindsay also made sure to update me asap with test results, helped me with my insurance/prescription paperwork, and is overall one of the best people I have ever interacted with in a medical setting. She is kind and outgoing and made me feel safe to ask any and all questions i had! I will never go to another OBGYN because of the fantastic experience I’ve had with Lindsay and Dr. Melinda."
"I’m writing this review after giving birth with Beaches OBGYN 8 months ago. I was hesitant to write this, because in the end I have a beautiful healthy baby and I am alive, so not much to complain about - but, I was recently asked by a friend if I were to get pregnant again would I go through the same OBGYN, and unfortunately, the answer is no. And if I can save someone from going through what I went through, it was worth sharing my experience. While I was pregnant I received standard care. The office staff was friendly, the nurses were great, and everyone always seemed to stay on schedule - which was appreciated. If you are looking for a natural birth though, I would advise you to really talk with each of the doctors to make sure they are all on the same page. In my experience, there was no continuity of care between the doctors and very little communication with me while I was in labor about the plan for delivering my baby. I wanted a natural birth and ended up induced, manually dilated with a balloon catheter and a liter of saline hanging from it, on Pitocin, and finally having a c-section under general anesthesia. I was unconscious for the birth of my first child and don’t even remember getting to hold them for the first time. The cascade of interventions that increase the risk of a c-section? I was given all of them and not one of the doctors came by to even have a conversation about it until the time for the unwanted c-section arrived. I wish I had known how to advocate for myself in the moment. I wish I had been more assertive when asking to speak with a doctor about a plan. It’s one of my biggest regrets. And one of the worst experiences of my life."
