"Lovely people! Informative, kind and caring"
"I never give one stars, but overall the service I received was awful. It took almost a month to get an appointment. I’m not sure what’s going on the administrative side, but the phone lines go straight to voicemail and even when you leave a message you never receive a call back. Even my doctors office had an incredibly difficult time getting a hold of them. It took four hours for my appointment from the time I walked in and left. I waited an hour in the waiting room just to see the Nurse Practitioner. She was very sweet and patient, but during her evaluation the doctor came in the room and interrupted to ask questions about another patient in front of me. The NP looked uncomfortable as the Doctor made a joke about her turning red and “how pretty she looked when she did.” I had to go back into the waiting room after we were done, waiting another 30 minutes. At this point I’ve been in the office for two hours when I was finally called back for the ultrasound. The Technician was also very nice and personable, she answered every question and gave an explanation for everything she did while she was doing it. After the ultrasound was done I waited in the room for about ten minutes before she came back in to let me know that the system was rebooting. I sat for another 20 minutes before I was sent to the doctors office. When first speaking with the doctor everything was okay, just a general overview of the baby. The issue started when he asked about a test I had done already, he said my doctor was lying and I’d have to do it again. After that it snowballed, any questions I asked he would become argumentative. He wouldn’t answer them or told me I had to do it, told me I could end up with a dead baby if I didn’t. I was told to take medication for a possible complication that I have no history of or symptoms. Even though baby was cleared he wanted an echocardiogram done, it was was supposed to have been done during that appointment (adding to the frustration). I’m the first one to do any testing or medication needed, but the whole point of my appointment was to check the baby’s health and he was trying to tell me I had all these issues that I don’t (already checked with my regular OB to make sure I don’t.) Towards the end of the conversation I tried to voice how incredibly difficult it was to find childcare to come to my appointments and that it was important that these things were actually needed, because again I don’t mind doing them, but if I do need them done I need to make sure I can get childcare to go do them. He proceeded to ask in a condescending tone, “Where is the baby daddy and why can’t he babysit? Is this the same baby daddy as this pregnancy?” I’m not confrontational and I wished I answered it differently. “I said he was working.” Not that this is any of my doctors business to know. He continued to berate me saying “Does he work all day, 7 days a week? The baby daddy needs to buck up and take your health as a priority.” I have never been so embarrassed and upset at a doctor before. I tried to brush it off since the doctor doesn’t care to understand my situation at this point and I don’t need to explain it to him. My respect for him was all gone. I would not recommend him to anyone, ever. I’ve had bad times with doctors before, but this was the first one to ever make me question if my regular OB Doctor was doing their job. My appointment was not only four hours long, but downright horrible. The NP and Technician were amazing, but the doctor is ultimately the one who rules the office and his service was awful. Adding the admin issues with just even contacting an office, let alone scheduling I have to rate it a one star. If I had a choice I wouldn’t even go here, but due to my insurance I’m left with no option."
