"Residence is by far the place to go if you’re interested in learning to dance or have fun dancing. The staff there has always been welcoming and was elated when I was elected to be an instructor at Residance. They really treat you like family and I wish I knew about Residance sooner because I would’ve been taking classes regularly. I never took a class prior to applying but they recognize the level of professionalism on my dance page and gave me a shot. This place is for ALL dance levels so don’t hesitate to come take a class or two."

"I started coming to Residance at the beginning of 2022. I was almost IMMEDIATELY welcomed with open arms by both the instructors and students even having not very much dance experience. The environment and staff always has each others backs throughout classes and video recordings and has always remained encouraging and positive with everyone who attends! When the opportunity arose, I tried out to be a Kpop instructor because I wanted to continue that trend of having classes where no one is judged and everyone is welcome to be who they are and have fun while doing it. I am so glad to call myself an instructor at this studio! I’ve fallen back in love with dance and I genuinely can’t wait for what the future for Resi holds!"

"As a teacher for this studio, I can 100% say that this place is the BEST!! I was a competitive dancer for many years and after high school, decided I really wanted to work for Residance. I took one or 2 classes before working there and absolutely loved the environment! When they posted they were hiring, I jumped on the opportunity and it was the best decision I’ve made for my dance career. The space is so accepting of ALL people no matter their age or level. I am beyond proud to say that I am a part of the Residance family :)"

"Extreme lack of professionalism and communication, as well as blatant favoritism and unwelcoming to those who cant afford to go to classes every week. For context, I have been training and competing with a studio in every style of dance my whole life, and was initially excited to stumble across Residance once I moved to Fort Myers. Because of the fact that I can't afford to go to classes consistently, I have been overlooked and flat out ignored, especially when contacting staff for job positions MULTIPLE times, just to learn those with money who can afford to go to every class got handed jobs. If you as a company already know who you want to hire, don't make an announcement for the position and don't ignore applicants who actually meet the qualifications. I give two stars because I did have fun a few of the times I went. In summary, Residance sadly isn't the welcoming environment I originally thought it was simply because I cannot afford to go to classes every week. If you can only afford the occasional class, don't expect a sense of community at any time, the studio is full of cliques. I expected better."
