"I am currently a junior standing here and two critical problems on this campus haven't been fixed until today: 1. Worst Wi-Fi network on the planet Students can't use the wifi often because of poor connection. This problem has been issued a few years ago, but the campus facilities seem silent. 2. Out of parking spaces Because the school is over-accepting the students every year, all the parking spaces are full every day. (I waited for 10-15 min for empty spaces sometimes) This is my first time experiencing parking problems in the States. They need to build more parking lots or stop over-accepting students."

"Melbourne, Florida’s very first school. The Little Red Schoolhouse is located in The Botanical Gardens on The Florida Tech Campus. This building was erected in 1883 by John Goode, an early settler, he built the school about 800 yards south of his home, known then as Fountain Heights, located on The Indian River. The Schoolhouse served both white and black students. The fist two teachers were Maude Goode and May Valentine. The school was painted red from the very beginning and had a hand operated pump which stood outside the door, there were no desk inside the schoolhouse, only benches. The students wrote on slats. Each school term was five to six month in the summer time. #melbourneflorida #melbourne #littleredschoolhouse #melbournehistory"
