"This has been by far the best experience I've had of all the ranges visited here in Tampa! When we walked into the location, Scott welcomed us with a warm greeting and took the time to answer questions that aligned with the questions Cheryl answered when I called! (Consistency) While on the range, Sacka gave me a few tips to be a better shooter! When checking out, Kyle made it smooth and provided his knowledge about gun purchases! Customer service of the staff was beyond what I expected after reading the reviews before attending. The next time we visit (which will be soon), my husband and I agreed to get their membership! Thank you to each staff member I mentioned as I feel safe in your presence!"

"This is a great arms store with great people, great atmosphere, clean, and with fantastic firing lanes. Week nights beat the crowd, if you don't like crowds go during the week. Locally owned and Locally run businesses are shrinking. All these nay reviews are appalling! Do a little research, all their safety rules are listed on their website. Greeted with friendly smiling faces, quick run trough of the safety rules, made my firearms and ammo available for a quick safety check, and I was on a lane. Safety is #1 priority as it should be with all firearm outings. Signed up for their CCL training course and intend to make this my practice range moving forward. I've been to all the big name ranges and paid the top dollar and never got the personalized experience I received here. Got into a CC and general arms conversation with the staff on my way out. Found them very knowledgeable and helpful! Pay no attention to these nay 1 star reviews. There's two sides to every story and my guess is people need to research the rules before coming out or at least listen when the rules are explained and above all obey safety instructions! Safety is there for us all regardless of your experience level!! I highly recommend this location for everyone including families with children of an appropriate age listed in their online rules list. ~Happy shooting~"

"I shot a pistol here for the first time. The man that explained the rules did a good job, and also showed me how to properly hold a pistol. I knew from YouTube University, but it's always good to have confirmation. All the employees seemed chill and knowledgeable, so I'll probably end up taking a class here. The range was crowded because it was a Saturday afternoon. However, it was a good shooting range. The affordable flat fee rate meant I DID NOT feel rushed with shooting - I shot for a long time and no one said anything. They DO allow steel cased ammo, which is a $$$ perk. The pistol range itself was in good, clean condition with a maximum range of 20 yards. Staff were also open carrying, which I love to see. I didn't get muzzled. That's a positive when going to a place that does rentals. I'm sure they have kicked out plenty of people for doing that, or other dumb stuff, judging by the reviews. Overall, 5 stars. I'll go again."

"I've been a sporadic visitor to Shooting Sports for about a year now, and every time I step foot in this establishment, I'm greeted by a friendly and level-headed staff. The prices are alright, and my recent experience buying my first gun (albeit it was a cheap 1911) was made even better thanks to Kevin, a true legend who answered all my questions and made the process a breeze. 11/10, I'll definitely be back! Bonus points to them for being laid back and informative during conversations and questions while still being responsible and respectful. Even more bonus points to Matt the GM who is going ham in these responses for the reviews, stuff is great man love to see it."
