"The person who runs this office is extremely rude .the text messages I received while trying to get help for my son were awful and made out like I purposely didn't have my child's insurance cards.whichbwere probably lost in pur house fire which we lost everything we owned in . Yet this person was extremely rude . I hope someone above her sees this. I went hone crying because I now feel extremely bad as a parent for not having something as simple as a stupid card when most people just look it up anyways ! Reply to the owner ..it wasn't what was said it was how it was said . Not only did I read the text message but I was so upset my mother read it as well along with my boss and my husband . They all took it the same way I did . On top of it all I was on the phone with insurance trying to get help to log in to the portal to find his info when the first rude text came through . I did not respond because I was trying to work on getting his card and such and then a few minutes later The last response came through . Meanwhile I'm sitting at work almost in tears because my child needs help and it's a stupid card that is preventing that and now I'm being degraded and talked down to because I dont have card on hand . With me being extremely sick and then the loss of our home thatcard was the least.of my worries and i haven't ever really needed it anyways !!! Again it's not what was said it was how it was said and we all took it in the same context so it wasn't just me .if youhavent seen what was said to me I would be glad to show you"
"Will only communicate through text, and I couldn't even get a text back let alone an appointment."
"Took my son to see Dr. Prather for Autism testing. I was very pleased. The office was very quiet which was nice, not alot of people in at one time. He went over everything in detail and wasn't rushed at all. He gave me peace of mine about concerns I had for my son and now that we have a diagnosis, I can better help my son. Thank you to Dr. Prather and staff!"
"Dr. Prather is a very compassionate, knowledgeable, professional that you feel comfortable talking to with alot of experience in his field. His medical receptionist is Awesome & im very thankful for their help."
"The only good things I have to say about this office is I met my therapist Brooke, who has thankfully left (& is incredible) & the receptionist Megan, who I’m sure receives a lot of frustration that should be directed at management, is lovely. Between — 1. the handful of different instances of what comes off as very shady “billing” (paying my specialist co-pay for multiple months only to find out the sessions were completely covered by insurance & then fighting for a refund, insurance being billed random amounts on random dates, switching insurance & then seeing claims being submitted to both my previous & current insurance companies for months, etc) 2. being a very consistent patient, for multiple years (because dealing with their incompetence was 100% worth it to still see Brooke), only to see that the practice manager requested for them to stop all future scheduling due to an outstanding bill — that I was never informed of. I can definitely understand the need to collect outstanding balances, but to attempt to end (obviously necessary services, as I’ve built up quite the frequent flyer miles here…) psychological treatment until a >$850 balance is collected without a single attempt at either collecting payment, or notifying a patient of an outstanding bill, feels pretty ludicrous… especially when considering the services provided. If you’re looking for my opinion — don’t waste your time with seeking treatment at this practice now that Brooke isn’t part of it."
